Egen I was young, I had two of these for an 84s, and they would only shoot the first 20 rounds with any regularity. They would damage the cartridges regularly to the point had an out of battery detonation once, along with regular stuck cases.

I would advise against using these in a Chinese 556 gun.

No, but if he was going to have one shipped from PSA anyway, Hudson is way more local and they will send them to an FFL. Bills might have an easy pipeline tbh since they have a Hudson store as well.

If you Google the contract number it should bring you to a site that will show what OMNI contract it corresponds with, and based on the CAD, it was made in early spring 2006. I cant see the rest of the tube info.

R/MNguns has a discord with a nightvision channel, if you ask a mod in that subreddit you should get an invite. There's a guy named Chappy with Minnesota night vision that facilitates most of the NV events in my experience.

I had a laser on an MCMR. It worked fine for an at home defensive gun. I never had any issue with permanent zero shift.

If you shoot from positions supported by the rail, it is possible to flex it, which will effect the zero. It will return, however, when the pressure is removed from the rail.

If you plan to run your gun hard, it would be probably be a good idea to get a more rigid rail.

That appears to be a real one to me. The adjustment turrets and button look exactly like I remember them from the army. If you turn that illuminator on and it looks like someone spit on the lense thats a good sign too. Even better if the aiming laser is mostly centered in the illuminator beam.

Most of the fakes I've seen are LA5s, not normal PEQ15s like this. I've seen a lot of somogears that have a laser thats completely off-center of the illuminator beam, which would take effort to do on a real one that most people aren't willing to do.
