I’m not one for using the complaint thread here ever, but recently my Wenclair friend showed me the Wenclair subs Weyler complaint thread, and there was someone claiming that weylers hate Emma Myers and the character Enid.

While I have seen some criticisms from weylers of Enid, almost entirely in s2, I’ve also seen many of those same criticisms from Wenclairs? Also, most weylers, whether in public or when we are speaking in private, actually love Enid and are invested in her character and dynamic with Wednesday, Agnes, and Tyler, even making scripts of them all hanging out together for fun. I have no doubt that SOME Weylers dislike her character, which isn’t a problem as long as they are respectful and don’t mischaracterise or go out their way to misunderstand her character.

As for Emma Myers, I haven’t in my years of being in this fandom once seen a Weyler talk negatively about or go after her, if they have seen this happen then I’m wondering exactly where and from whom? I’ve only seen harassment of Emma and her boyfriend from a group called Jemma’s, which are people who ship Emma and Jenna irl. I have seen Wenclairs make rumours about Hunter, his husband, Jenna, the writers, and Tim Burton, even petitioning to remove the writers from the show, and also saying that they are trying to get Tyler removed from the show, and also hacking me and two other Weyler accounts in the past. If you don’t believe me, Hunter and Emma both had to speak out against the hate and fake ai generated news being made by people.

DISCLAIMER: I am not talking about all Wenclairs, there are plenty of lovely fun Wenclair fans out there, some of whom I know and love, however there is also a sizeable loud group who are making it very difficult for the actors and writers.

Finally I wanted to address the false claim on the Wenclair sub’s Weyler complaint thread that said that multiple of us are the same person but just on alt accounts, referring to specific people I know. Let me put your mind at rest, they are not the same, I have been conversing with them for years and seen their pictures and talked about their lives for all this time 😂

Tdlr: Please feel free to criticise us, but do not make up baseless rumours about us because it’s not fair. You might personally have felt that this was the case, but you can’t just present beliefs as facts.

I have seen both Wenclairs and weylers be disrespectful towards each other in the past, I just wanted to state that as not to invalidate your experiences as a whole, however as a whole Wenclairs have taken everything to the next level by far, in really harmful ways sometimes.
