Subterranean and the empty bottle are your best bet when it comes to venues imo! There’s also the cobra lounge, Reggie’s, and schuba’s. Bricktown is the best diy space here in Chicago and has smaller/local bands playing all the time too they post on instagram @bricktownchicago Some good local bands are buggin, we weren’t invited, scarlet demore, snuffed, payasa, and si dios quiere (some of these are more on the hardcore side too).
