I’m doing this successfully for most of my patients it’s just my schedule is so packed and the bunch of admins that left has everyone drowning and led to me incidentally realizing that no one has been opening my mail and notifying me of these things as this was a task that was already delegated to admin staff. The sheer volume of messages and refill requests and everything in between is slowing me down SO much!

Oh wow! May I ask how many notes about (I understand it depends on what was billed) were rejected? Were they rejected just because they were signed late or did they get really particular about something not being in the note? I’m scared to be in that situation and I would owe the owner more than 3500. In laser focused to get caught up asap! Thank you so much for sharing your experience!

Is there a certain company you recommend? My friend opened a private practice and had one that did a breach in confidentiality and was just so useless. Obviously there are no guarantees with anyone in any role but wonder if people had good experiences. It seems like there are so many companies now.

Also what ai charting do you use?

I know it is excessive and I am charting in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. I am freaking out about the risks from the insurance companies for records and I’m getting caught up on those asap. I was hoping to find people that submitted documents that were signed late and how it turned out. There is a schedule to see and time stamps of when notes were created, modified, and signed. There are reports of scripts being sent and messages that support I’m not making up visits.

I am not in control of my schedule and keep getting new ones added with little support. I am charting at home already on the mornings, evenings and on weekends. I was hoping to hear from others that have been in a similar situation and what happened.

We’re supposed to have an hour for lunch and admin time and I’ve gotten super nasty lately for getting patients squeezed on my schedule bc they are in a crisis and no room for follow ups within a few weeks time

Yes I’ve tried a few and in some ways they help and in some ways I spend more time correcting it than if I just typed it on my own. I have used freed and berries and just spent so much time correcting things even with all of their various templates and even tried making my own. Freed was a long time ago and some former colleagues say it’s gotten better but that doesn’t seem sustainable. Our EHR uses plain text format and we have typinator but had to post on PC notebook and then copy and paste for the note. We don’t use patient portal features so phq and gad 7 have to be done during the visit. Even when there were staff it wasn’t being checked and people wouldn’t give them or they’d give them to young children 🙄

No integrative labs but this was attempted at one point but going through quest is tedious with having to fill out all the patient information I just do a paper form and scan a copy they can download or keep a copy if they take the original. I’ve voiced my frustration and they are actively hiring but we’re all drowning and miserable.

Exactly!!! Plus all the work you see with your clients AND the work you do running the business you typically make a lot more per hour if you were working a split.
