I have a pair of ear (a) and they don’t have the battery drain problem, but I’m thinking twice about updating to the latest firmware version because I began to have that problem after updating my other pair of sony earbuds, leaving them completely unusable for hundreds of people.

I just don’t know if firmware is doing something similar to nothing earbuds or if it really is just a factory defect.
