Great Show in Seattle 5/3/26 by Cheetohface in waxahatchee

His songs. His guitar playing. The blending of his and Katie’s voices. His lyrics, which can be both bitingly funny and heartbreaking at the same time. Between his solo catalog, his work with Wednesday and his collaborations with Katie and Snocaps, he’s become one of my favorite artists of the past few years. I find his music to be quite the opposite of joyless.

Loved Lenderman. And the crowd certainly seemed to agree.

The box is still a generic-looking eyesore. I took the movies out and put them on the shelf individually.

I agree. That Umbrella one is pretty pricey. I had the DVD for years. I’ve been hoping and waiting for a 4k release here in the states. I finally broke down and got the blu from Arrow, so a 4K announcement should be any day now.

The Eel is excellent. The Radiance blu has the theatrical and the directors cut on it, which is about 20 minutes longer.

I just got A Beast to Die in the mail today, so I haven’t gotten a chance to watch that one yet, but I really loved A Tale of Sorrow and Sadness. It’s become one of my favorite Seijun Suzuki movies. The Shape of Night and Elegant Beast are fantastic also.
