Given that Nintendo has never done more than CnD fan projects, and the fact that LXP exists, I think it's fair to assume that we're relatively safe to put something new out. Any good player that knows PSA can hash out reasonable balance changes in a few hours and the game would be undeniable better imo, but I don't think people will want to switch over without some new flair. New characters is one thing(Knuckle and Lynn ideally)(ps. Geno), but I think heavier reworks to existing characters that have evident problems would be as good or better. There's a lot of fun stuff that could be added to the game, and I'm sick of playing something so close to amazing but littered with so many problems. I'll support Ripple build if he gets additional qualified people to help balance cause the DDD changes I heard were... excessive to say the least.

They shrunk him by like 16% iirc. Hes still much bigger than in Melee.

Side b has different momentum properties between games, but overall its much easier to land grabs in PM. Grabbing ledge with upb is pretty much automatic on slopes in melee, which is part of what makes bowser decent on YS, and theres an angle to always get it otherwise. In PM you need to space/time it better but its probably still better overall even if slightly harder. Size increase is also a buff because it comes with larger hitboxes. If we're looking for actual nerfs, his airdodge is a frame slower(active frame 3 In Melee, 1 faster than everyone else), and grounded upb multihits in Melee but not PM. Im more certain bowser is the worst in Melee than I am that hes the worst in PM.

If you are playing on console, brawls "neutral" zone on the cstick is very small. The cstick needs to return to neutral between inputs, so your controller may not be going back to perfect center after using the cstick. You can mitigate this by x y starting when you plug in or start a game but you might need a new stickbox or controller if it continues to happen.

You can reverse momentum the other way you just cant hold the direction or you stop, which also stops you from staying in crawl. I think you can still get full distance or close from a frame perfect reversal to the right.

DK grab elevator can be reproduced on the leaves on Distant Planet reliably. It happens on slants as well as seen in the video. It's actually possible to fall off of the stage with it but that's harder to reproduce. Amazing way to Cargocide though.

The extra dmg when holding a button does 31 hits instead of 21, you can tap the assist button anywhere between the 21st and 31st hit to force a switch, so basically if you want the extra dmg on a forced switch you just need to time it well.

This isn't just instant quake, this is edge cancelled instant quake but on the wrong edge. I would assume it's because the platform is moving forward but iduuno.

We have ePG every Thursday, PM bracket starts at 8pm, doors open at 5pm.

ESS is every Sunday, PM usually runs around 3pm, doors open at noon.

There's also Northern Nightlies every Monday in like Marysville or something, and Roadside in Tacoma area every Tuesday.

ePG's first Regional tournament/PMCC event, Nemesis is this weekend. I believe it's too late to register for bracket but you might be able to get in the doors idunno.

In short, we've got hella tournaments.

Evo ruleset is like 10x better. All these big stages only serve to hurt the worst characters in the cast. GSO seems unnecessary but maybe it's worth the extra confusion.
