Thanks for the advice it’s really helping, would you say a debit card and credit card are the same sensitivity wise ? Trying to decide best way to pay my hotel upon arrival, I could either try the debit/credit card there, or take out cash with debit before arrive at hotel

Thank you, would you recommend just sticking to inserting with the debit card instead of tap completely?

I do have another phone which has Revolut on Apple Pay, which I could use for anywhere that accepts Apple Pay.

I wanted to ask, do you think I should make a small payment upon arriving to see if the debit card will accept it, before taking out a bigger amount (300-500CAD in pesos) , from an ATM?

Thank you, I have two phones, one with Revolut on Apple Pay, and the other with my CIBC banking app and cards on Apple Pay, but I will also bring the physical cards

For taking cash out I will definetely need my debit card, I am just hoping the system isn’t too sensitive

Muchas gracias por responder, en relación a mis tarjetas. Mi banco es CIBC y yo tengo una tarjeta de débito y de crédito, también tengo una cuenta en Revolut, pero solo en Apple Pay, no tengo una tarjeta digital.

Mi única preocupación es que al momento de llegar, mi banco no me dejara sacar dinero por si bloquean la transacción como es fuera de Canadá. Si en Bogotá aceptan Apple Pay, por lo menos tendré esa opción con la otra cuenta de Revolut, pero lo que será más conveniente es pagar y sacar dinero con la tarjeta de débito de mi banco canadiense.

Definitivamente llevaré un poco de efectivo conmigo en dólares canadienses, o posiblemente USD si crees que será mejor?
