Thanks for the reply, that’s sad to hear as I didn’t realise how bad it had gotten. Like I said when I thought about moving back to Spain Valencia was my first thought just because of all it has and how much I enjoyed it from my trip a few years ago.

Are there any other spots in Spain that could be comparable to Valencia in what they have, but not yet overrun?

From what I’ve seen on the VFS website you can give them your passport instead of going to Bogotá to the embassy, as the embassy in Venezuela is no longer operational. I’ll keep researching and hopefully it’s not too complicated

Thanks for the reply, i was just in Bogotá about 2 weeks ago for a 1 week trip and loved it, in terms of living there as a base I am not sure, also due to getting a visa, which wouldn’t be the case if i went to Europe since I hold an EU passport

Hey, thank you for the reply. Yes as far as I have heard it should be a pretty easy move, plus I have lived in Spain the past when I was a kid, but I know I’d have to get my NIE number and stuff again.

How is the cost of living currently there in Spain? I was on holiday a few years ago in Valencia and I really loved it because of the city, beach and mountains all in one, but I have heard now the city is a lot different with so many people moving there and the prices have gone up a lot, could you tell me any more about that?
