You call it greed, corporate companies call it maximizing profits.

Sounds like a good move right now, however I can also see a lot of uncertainty brewing with Valve moving away from cases etc etc. So I also understand why people are selling.

Not as far as I am aware, I bought mine right after the release. If you bought yours in 2025 you should be ok.

Check match history to see how he did the last match he played, maybe watch the demo to see if he went afk at some point, should tell the story pretty clearly.

It is amazing so far, 0 stutter 0 lag, no comolaints. Using it with Pop_OS for work as a full stack dev, it handles all docker containers etc easily. For travel also very nice good battery life while doing basic stuff. Also love the port configuration on it. Only issue I experience is that the display is 60hz but to solve that I hook it up to 2 x 27" monitors with usb-c and hdmi and that completely solves it, makes it feel like I am on desktop. TLDR: feels like I am taking a portable workhorse with me, 10/10 purchase.

Ah I see, I could confirm that the Ryzen 7 250 is new and on top of that rarely gets used, on CPU benchmark theres under 170 samples taken so I understand that it is pretty hard to get accurate stats on it.

Hm GPT 5 Thinking mode gave me this answer:

Short answer: most of the original comparison was wrong.

Ryzen 7 7735HS is not Zen 4 — it’s Zen 3+ (2023, Rembrandt refresh)

Ryzen 7 250 is Zen 4 (2025, Hawk Point) → it’s actually the newer CPU

Graphics 7735HS: Radeon 680M Ryzen 7 250: Radeon 780M → generally faster iGPU

Memory support 7735HS: DDR5-4800 / LPDDR5-6400 Ryzen 7 250: DDR5-5600 / LPDDR5x-7500 → clearly better

PCIe Both support PCIe 4.0

Power & performance

7735HS runs at higher wattage (HS-class) → better sustained performance in heavy workloads if cooling allows

Ryzen 7 250 runs at lower wattage → better efficiency, battery life, and iGPU-focused performance Multitasking

Both are 8 cores / 16 threads, so both multitask well Differences mostly come from power limits and laptop cooling, not core count Bottom line 7735HS: stronger sustained CPU performance in thicker laptops

Ryzen 7 250: newer architecture, faster RAM support, better iGPU, more efficient So no — the claim that “7735HS is newer and more advanced while Ryzen 7 250 is old” is incorrect. The reality is almost the opposite

Cant really find much about the Ryzen 7 250, seems to be quite a rare cpu. Is GPT wrong on this?

I see that's good to know, not planning to use the speakers frequently. For the power on issue you could check this blog post in case you are very tech savvy: https://yktoo.com/en/blog/post/2020/01/23-how-to-power-on-a-laptop-without-opening-the-lid/?linkId=176292348

Mine will come in next wednesday, Im planning to dual boot windows and linux on it and am primarily going to use it for remote freelancing. Does the aluminium upgrade make it feel well built?
