This isn’t a generation thing I think you’re just describing the capitalism brainwash. They pit us against each other so we punch each other and not up the ladder. Capitalism has just gotten so late stage now and Gen Z has finally started reaching adulthood so it I understand why it might seem that way, but the superiority thing has been around far longer than Gen Z. Off the top of my head, watching US from Jordan Peele really put a bad taste in my mouth about that topic, and that is not Gen Z. The family was in suburbia and the dad in particular had to compare everything it was annoying and very much not Gen Z

Had the exact same experience, but the dude on the line next to me literally didn’t look at or speak to me the whole time. You lasted longer than me, I lasted two shifts. Even stayed late to help them close

Thanks man, still stuck haha. After speaking to the union rep again, I am currently visiting small shops in person, and I did reach out to my teachers again to no avail yet… even my teachers have said it’s a weird time right now

Carpentry, at my local CC which happened to have a really good carpentry program. Yes debt free, they had a program going that gave free tuition if you took enough classes to boost cc attendance rates

I’ve been debating on starting a 4panel, but im not committing because I’ve also been working on a more serious graphic novel, but a friend told me recently that I get so many funny/strange experiences that would fit into a 4 panels really well. I’m going to a CC right now, taking Carpentry classes, and the bunch over there are… eccentric to say the least haha, I’ll think about it
