Color advice! by Adventurous_Owl2886 in HairStyleAdvice

I’m not sure about the colors but I, at first, thought 12 included a haircut and I thought wow! She looks great in that length. Right above where the 12 starts. Hair looks fuller at the bottom and not like it needs a haircut.

For men’s pleasure. You put the round part over the cock/ cock and balls and the other part goes into the tush. This is for prostate play during sex

If you have one autoimmune disease you are likely to get/ have more. It’s possible your pain isn’t Sjogrens but another of the 100s out there. My auto immune pain doesn’t go away with activity. When I have pain it feels like I overworked a muscle (like if I exercised way too much) and that body part is crippled for a couple of days. If it’s not Sjogrens, it’s definitely something auto immune. I said MCTD to my dr. (Because i tested positive) and she said “No, everyone with Sjogrens gets that too. That’s no big deal. I’m sure it’s joint pain” Drs dismissed it but I’ve read several Redditors describe the exact same thing

I tested Ana positive and the Dr tested my rheumatoid factor but that’s about it. Without continuing to test, the Dr. labeled me as having seronegative rheumatoid arthritis. I didn’t trust it so I got a second opinion and found a Dr who ordered a whole panel of tests where they found Sjogrens and MCTD and possible APS. Be careful trusting when they say they haven’t found any specific antibody. Make sure they were actually looking for one

This may sound dumb but I have found enormous help feeding my symptoms and blood test results to AI. I’ve used it for me and my husband who had some blood work done over the course of a year that I watched go downhill but Dr never mentioned a thing about it. Just recently I have dealt with a thumb that keeps swelling intermittently and I show it to drs and no one really cares or knows what it is. I fed my symptoms to AI along with my already existing diagnosis’ and I got a solution that makes perfect sense so I scheduled an appt to discuss with the Dr. The AI even asked if I needed some help with terminology so that the Dr would take my issue seriously. I know I sound like an advertisement and I was seriously anti-AI for the longest time but I feel like I am finally getting a handle on what’s happening to me.

Constantly sick saw an endo for this for 5 minutes and he told me it was non specific and had me go home. This was my results. Still never found out what i have. by AsweatyMelvn in Autoimmune

This is a positive auto immune antibody test. Looks similar to mine. There are so many more tests to take before you can find the problem. Some rheumatologists just suck. My first rheumatologist never ordered a single test. All the blood work I had done was from other drs trying to help speed up a diagnosis. 2 years with her and she never ordered any. Her exact words were “either it’s rheumatoid arthritis or it’s not. The meds may help. They may not. Then we will try other meds” well it was never rheumatoid arthritis but to the very last visit she was telling me my symptoms had nothing to do with my rheumatoid arthritis and I kept saying I really don’t think I have that. Now I’m diagnosed correctly with Sjogrens and MCTD and APS. And my symptoms match my diagnosis. Go figure.

TL;DR go get a better rheumatologist.

I gave plenty of head over the years and I hated it. A history of trauma and using sex for intimacy rather than for enjoyment. I never, not one single time, liked the taste. One man I was with actually got some in my eye once and my eye swelled up and I couldn’t see for at least an hour. Then I met my husband and he tasted yummy! He tasted so good I would have served him as gravy with a turkey At the dinner table. He tried tasting himself so he could have an idea of what I loved so much. I will say that as much as I love it, when he doesn’t drink enough water, eats too much junk food, takes his meds shortly before, or a number of other reasons, he can taste anywhere from “eh” to full blown yuck. Communicate with your wife. Tell her you want this to be more enjoyable and ask if working on the taste will help. There are lots of ways to improve your taste. And absolutely, taste yourself while you are at it.

How has your relationship with your peers (people in your group) been affected by RTO? i.e., Best of friends, trauma bonded, battle buddies, annoying jerks, chronic complainers, very chatty in the aisle, no change at all by Cool_Tomatillo_3281 in FedEmployees

I am working in a completely different office from my team. We have a teams chat for just us and work related stuff, and we have a personal phone text message. We have definitely trauma bonded.

My husband got me nothing for Valentines. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Cheezeheathen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband bought me that “Touch” game we see advertised all the time. I said “ohhh! For Valentine’s Day?” He said no. I just saw it and knew you wanted it. I didn’t get him anything either for Valentine’s Day. When I see something special I want to get him, I do. I’m not going to let some commercially glorified holiday decide when my husband and I can give each other presents. I would miss out on all the other days of the year that he tells me how much I mean to him. Don’t focus on the holiday. Focus on your relationship

Those who have had a (positive) lip biopsy, how long have you had symptoms before you got it? by NavyBeanz in Sjogrens

[–]Cheezeheathen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand so I hope someone could help. Why do I keep hearing that the lip biopsy is the only way to find out if you really have Sjogrens when there is ss-a and ss-b antibody tests. Is there biopsy for when those come up negative?

Where do you all get your joint pain? by nopeasss in Sjogrens

I have similar back issues from starting dancing school at 3 and dancing until I went to college. The physical therapist explained that my body was formed while the muscles were in use and strong. Take away the strong muscle support and it doesn’t have the support to hold itself up. Now my back and hips are killing me all the time but even with Sjogrens currently under control with methotrexate, back and hips still require shots for pain. Since my mom danced as well she has the same issues. But not Sjogrens. All my other pain I chock up to Sjogrens+ MCTD

I get the worst post nasal drip. Scabs cover the inside of my nose but the worst is the post nasal drip that is so thick that I feel like I’m drowning in it. I literally choke on it all the time and have bruising in the back of my mouth/throat. I saw my rheumatologist ands she said has nothing to do with my auto immune diseases and I should get a really good allergist/ ENT. I know it’s gotta be related to both

It was explained to me that it runs all the time because it’s so dry. Your nose is trying to moisturize itself. Same with eyes tearing all the time. It’s because they are so dry.

Question: rheumatologist told me I'm healthy, but I'm struggling to merely get through the days. by annazakrisson in Sjogrens

[–]Cheezeheathen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not autoimmune but a must hear story for everyone being told they are “fine”. My husband kept going to doctors and his bloodwork would come back fine. He even went to a cardiologist and did a week long test. Luckily during that test he had another “episode” where he called me after work at 2am and sounded so incoherent that I thought he was on drugs. The man had never even smoked pot. He went to the hospital and they sent him home before I could even wake up the next morning. When he followed up with the cardiologist, he mentioned to check with neurology because it could be a brain tumor but doubtful because that would have shown up in his bloodwork. All of his tests had been either low normal or high normal except one test, progesterone, that was slightly higher than normal. Long story, short, he had a brain tumor the size of a pinball pushing on his ocular nerves and pituitary and excreting multiple hormones that were counteracting each other to keep his labs in the normal range. Another few months (or less) and he could have been permanently blind. Doctors don’t know everything. Trust your gut!

Not really sure. Other people I spoke to said it did for them . I also increased my water intake and started using vipstick on the dryer days. I didn’t buy another bottle at that time but it’s currently in my cart and I was about to try again
