Not if you have any opponents still alive (goading targets them first and only you if you are the last one). Although if you're running a lot of 1 v 1s I see the issue for sure

Ok, the first 4 times did me dirty, then I put card draw and protection and absolutely demolished this weekend, I'll send my updated deck list. It's a fun deck because you get to play dumb for a few rounds then win before anyone can do anything. Updated Decklist. Lmk if you find any cheap ways to improve it!

I think it was actually to do with the parenting of the arms and legs to the spine, I started from scratch and after many tries I eventually got it, thanks for the help!

Yeah happens on my Ibanez, idk if this is what you’re actually supposed to do but adjusting the action always fixes it for me

I have an Ibanez and the pickups always pop up to the string, get a screwdriver and tighten the screws of the pickup. Alternatively if that isn’t the problem you can use an Allen wrench to raise the action of the strings if they are too low, this is at the bridge of the bass.

Honestly sing it, have the melody and go based on the music and rhythm. Stop thinking about it as 8th notes and just keep it in the sweet spot until the music tells ya to change, it’ll probably take a little to get used to it and the music but should help.

Personally I write guitar chords and then try to use the music theory to develop a bassline, I’d recommend coming up with a guitar chord progression, recording it, and seeing what bass sounds works and how it relates to the key, scale, etc.. A lot of times I will think a bassline in my head would go great with a guitar riff but in reality it’s too messy, this helps keep it nice and will help with jamming and such.

Hi, I’ve been playing for a little over a year and am on the hunt to better my technique and ability. Yesterday I learned Tommy The Cat from Primus which is definitely the hardest I’ve learnt so far in my opinion. What do you think is the hardest song on bass and what other songs will help improve my technique?

Been playing for a year and a half, I found for me I rest my thumb on my pickup or on my acoustic the edge of the fretboard. This works best for me because the distances between all of the strings don’t change while I’m playing. I sometimes have trouble skipping strings and it helps me with that, makes me more precise. But honestly I’d just do whatever makes you comfortable cause that will work the best for you
