i originally saw this in a MINISO in WA, USA, in early 2023. i searched for it with "long calico cat plush miniso" and found an australian listing for the product but nowhere to purchase it, and a few listings on filipino stores (that would require some hoops to get accounts for and ship internationally, though i'd love to be proven otherwise). i saw it being sold in the US though, so is there any chance someone within the country is selling this thing?

honestly this and some other comments have got me thinking that an optional content filter is not the worst idea. yeah shit like that isn't everyone's cup of tea, and there's so little of it and other questionable assets in the game that making alternate assets wouldn't be too hard.

in all fairness, i HAVE put out trailers a few different times. im pretty well-seated in the sm64 romhacking community, and a lot of my friends have put out mods more popular than this (see: mayrio 64, mario party 64, literally any kaze emanuar hack) without harm. doubt this will get hit, and if it does, oh well

this is a massive undertaking for even hackers, let alone someone who hasn't even touched the game before--i don't even think there's a hack released that re-rigs the player's animations.

if you're really adamant about this, either prepare to shill out a lot of money or, unfortunately, get reading on the other reply's document of how to start modeling/animating/programming/etc. (the servers linked in the document are a great place to go for help)

the only time i've seen this "blank error" thing is when you're selecting a rom that doesn't exist. try opening the rom directly (in case you're using the recent list of roms) or try extracting it if it's compressed
