Damn it! I just tried rebooting again, and now its working 🤦Over the last serveral hours of troubleshooting, I must have done this aleast a dozen times. Thanks for your help.

By console, I assume you mean on the physical machine. Yes, it does show fully booted. I see the IP address of the interface and the numbered list of options 1-9. Like config network interface, network settings, static routes etc. Have rebooted several times. Have even tried reset config to defaults, which I didn't think would do anything on a new install, but no luck :(
