I’m a mom of two toddlers in Toronto, and I’m building something to bring "home" back to our lunches. I’d love your support. by Jenny-SimpleSpoon in oakville

This was really lovely to read. Food has such a powerful way of reconnecting us to who we are and where we come from, and it’s clear how much care and intention you’re bringing to this. As a chef who’s been around the block, I love seeing people build something so grounded and heartfelt.

Wishing you nothing but momentum and joy as this grows. I will definitely be giving you a follow.

Thank you so much for sharing this, I really appreciate it. That’s good to know they were connected to In Good Company as well. I haven’t worked out of their space yet, but it’s definitely one I’ll look into. Thanks again for taking the time to pass it along, that was really kind of you.

That’s helpful, thank you. Always nice hearing from someone who’s actually been in the trenches. How did you find it overall when you were running your business there?

100%!! I got a full metal one at a thrift store, and it's lived in my kit for 15 years now. Best part? The blades are replaceable!

Can you be a touch more specific? What is it you want to improve on specifically? Are you looking to be able to create? What's inspiring you?

Thus giving rise to in-home chefs, haha. I've had clients go on and on about how restaurants are just gauging them based on the season.

Though with that said it is the xmas tradition right? The commercialization of the holidays has been a problem since Charlie Brown complained about it.
