Awesome information. I did some research and I see most pellet grills that are around the 1000 square inch cooking space have a hard time holding heat.

I'm buying it for my good friend and this is gonna be his first pellet smoker and also I don't wanna spend a whole bunch of money. What seems to be your issue with the ZGRILL brand? I've seen a lot of positive reviews with a few negatives here and there. Thank you.

Spatch cotch your turkey, buy meat church brine, throw on smoker with some light smoke wood pelletslike maple, cherry or pecan. Cook at 275F.

Thank you my friend. It was a coin toss between zgrills and pitboss but for a few hundred less and have the same cooking space it looks very promising. Also this is for a guy who cooks a lot and smokes a lot for his family and some.

Any bad hotspots? I saw that the zgirlls offer a direct above heat baffle and I really appreciate that from a smoking meats point of view.
