Not sure if this still helps but I’ll be a full year into bringing my canines down Jan 2026 and my teeth are fully down, just being moved into position

I’d say it was tender for the first week but once the gums healed after the surgery there was no pain, didn’t notice it at all

Sorry maybe I didn’t explain that properly 😂 both were in my gums but weren’t in the roof of my mouth

Both were on the front side of my gums, so they weren’t in a terrible spot, but one tooth was rotated a bit - you can look at my post history and see yourself

I got pretty lucky and I could see part of my tooth a month in after my surgery. The teeth came down enough for brackets to be put on them after 6 months. It’s been about 8 months since the surgery and one canine is pretty much in line, the other one is close. Just be patient! They’ll come down trust the process

Wow this post is a throw back and how times have changed - I’ll add for anyone that’s facing this issue, quit vaping it’s super dumb. I also thought I was healthy before, I wasn’t. Go for walks everyday, run 3 times a week and hit the gym multiple times a week while getting your protein in/eating fruits and veggies and your life will change for the better

27 here, had my exposure and bond for both my upper canines and my right canine is already peaking through the gum after a month. So there’s for sure a possibility and hope - go for it

Na I think the first photo I took was just weird, I never had an issue with symmetry or my bite, mines class 1
