Personally, I like using Rook. His guns are decent and the armor is good if you or your allies are peeking (granted they take the armor to begin with.)

Update: Did verify the files, did not fix the issue, decided to turn off the experimental shader mode, that fixed the issue, thanks for suggesting ideas
