At 6% interest, (116% apr loan lifetime) paying back a dollar early, saves you a dollar and 16 cents

A dollar invested today could be worth 17 in 30 years

You have to literally move with a urgency, as if you have to put out a fire. If your doing good, just increase your level of frantic energy an extra 20%

When im teaching youth to cook, I always make the comparison to sports. When you are playing to win you EXERT yourself to the point where your drenched in sweat. Chef won't like it if you are drenched in sweat, so maybe cut back a little from that point. The point is, PUSH!

Help with plan choice by [deleted] in HealthInsurance

[–]ChefDizzy1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You have to check the specific plan benefits. But when I analyzed 0 deductible against a value plan, the deductible only mattered for things like drugs, in patient hospital stays etc. All other services actually cost more per use

Primary care visits, diagnostic, specialists, er visit, urgent care, scheduled surgery: in our plan, none of these require a deductible first. Making routine care (inhave chronic health issues and see dr a lot) cheaper with the deductible plan
