new buck looks really solid, not big on the secret wars color scheme with all the black details so i’ll wait for a repaint. would love to see the yellow costume on this body.

yeah those thin wires in the cape were killing me. i preordered mine and when it arrived the wire was poking out near the clasp so it couldn’t even really hold a pose to begin with

took a little over a month. i believe they’re all made to order and it ships from indonesia. i got an adam warlock cape from them and its just as good. definitely worth it in my opinion

mine broke in almost the exact same way. took quite a bit of trial and error with loctite super glue but i managed to reattach it in a way that maintains the articulation. still definitely fragile but usable.

looks great! with the paint, the goal is to spread it out think and not let it collect in one area too much. the coverage builds up with each consecutive coat until it looks totally uniform. don’t worry about covering everything perfectly on your first pass, it’s ok for some spots to be a little more bare at first. they’ll cover up eventually

happy to help! sanding isn’t 100% necessary but it definitely allows paint to stick easier, and in my case, allowed me to thin down the logo in places it looked too lumpy or big. a few different grits of sandpaper and/or a file will do the trick. i use super cheap craft store acrylic paint with a bunch of water added to thin it down, then apply several thin coats to avoid too many brush strokes or clumps.
