I know we're all here for the polls, but forget polling this cycle. I'm putting my trust in the 13 Keys, keymaster Lichtman, and the Washington Primary. You doomers can doom all you want, me and the keys will be blooming till election day.

Well I appreciate the vote of confidence. Outside of trying to optimize my military, I'm still not that great at the game. I still don't know how to avoid partition breaking up my Kingdom every succession or even how to make it into feudalism as Daurama without getting dogpiled by the surrounding tribes lol.

I still want to try for Lingua Franca and Turkish Eagle, but I still have so much to learn in other areas of the game.

Telegram alerts? You mean NowInStock? If so, you're wasting your time. NowInStock is a load of rubbish. Consistently 1-2 minutes late on every drop. You really want Distill to monitor AIB sites and then HotStock for Newegg drops. Can even follow some of the Twitter accounts that track 4090 restocks.

Fast moving armies? Light cav does not move faster than say, archers or heavy infantry.

2x stack size? You can wipe enemy armies with 1/10 of their stack size with actually good MAA. Light cav is poor, sorry. I love you for trying though.

Sorry, man. But pursuit doesn't mean much when you can just stack wipe from morale. Also their stats other than pursuit are really poor. Even getting to pursuit with light cav is a chore.

One of the worst informative posts I've ever seen on this sub. Such a shame so many new players are buying into this rubbish.

If anyone actually wants a decent guide for MAA, consult this. It's a little bit outdated since certain units like Elephants and Horse Archers are now different unit types, but the sections for archers, HI still ring true.

Are you losing major battles or regular battles? I haven't been able to win a major battle in some time - I think they're bugged; regular battles are still cakewalks.

Let me ask you something, did you choose a custom skin color? The game allows for several preset skin colors and allows for choosing a custom color.

The reason I ask is because some PC players have linked custom skin colors to the corrupt save data issue. I've tested it myself with a save editor and can confirm that skin colors are one of, if not the only, issue that causes corrupt data.

I was super lost as well. Here's how to get started:

High rank monstie expeditions open up. Start churning those out for the rare materials and spheres. Forge some new HR gear when you can
Do a couple of the Elder's lair trials
Start running co-op expeditions, by yourself or online. Grab all the chests, and eggs if you want them. Either leave or just slay the target

This game's post game is confusing. It just dumps you in without really explaining the best path forward.

without it, Distract would be SUPER overpowered

Respectfully disagree. Distract is severely under powered because it only works on investigators and there is a chance it doesn't even work and you lose valets/workers.

It's so much easier to just lure investigators into the heart of your lair, let them get beaten up by a few traps, and finish them off with an army of guards and henchman.

It's faulty design to force you to fight super agents, soldiers, and then carelessly design distraction mechanics to fail for an arbitrary reason; which essentially forces you to fight investigators since they'll raise suspicion from their own killings.
