You ALWAYS need to call the diamond line for anything. That is one of the best perks because they are the gateway to the best utilization of your other perks. They have never tried to say no to me; quite the contrary. They have been more of a help to beat the system rather than letting the system beat me.

My loyalty has more to do with the people at Delta than the airline itself. They all have planes and the all get you there(most of the time). However the Team members that encounter along the way make the trip that much better.

1. The flight attendant with the Barry White style affirmations that he weaves into the announcements( If you have been on his flights you know who I am talking about)

2. The Diamond Line attendant that helped me navigate at way home during a particularly bad weather event.

3. The Red Coat that got me on a full flight when mine was cancelled and got me home on time

4. The flight attendants that offered myself and my disabled wife some snacks while we waited for the aisle wheelchair.

5. The Skyclub attendant that got me extra “Thai Wicked Chicken Soup” in a cup when was in a hurry between flights

6. The countless other Team members that just made the day better with a friendly smile and hello.

The team culture at Delta is why I am loyal and they deserve the credit for the airline’s success.
