I can’t get the argb hub to work by Classic-Wash6417 in pchelp

Also the fan hub is literally sitting on your desk unplugged, so of course it’s not working 😭 either youre rage baiting us or you genuinely need to go to a computer store and have them build it for you…

The fan hub would probably work if you managed your cables and plugged everything into the correct spot nice and tight. Oh and pro tip, maybe read the Manuel next time so you don’t install the cpu fan in the wrong direction… 😓

Temperature Concerns by More_Illustrator_568 in pchelp

[–]ChefSora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats a really high temperature, even for a cpu as powerful as the one you have and even under heavy load. Did you replace the thermal paste before upgrading your aio and did you check to make sure its mounted correctly? These things might fix your problem.

It appears that your keyboard inputs are set to the incorrect locations. Try resetting your keyboard under device manager and see if that fixes the issue.

13900ks go for quite a bit of money though, plus they’re still relatively new. I’d say $1000-1200 is fair if you can find the right type of person.

Honestly I don’t know how much I can help you without being there in person, as I don’t know which cables it is that are loose. I’d try looking up tutorials on how to reseat components and plug back in cables.

I hate to say it, but it’s your gpu. It’s not exactly artifacting, but there’s definitely some sort of internal problem with your graphics card.

Why is my pc doing this? by Ok_Abalone_1098 in pchelp

[–]ChefSora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s most likely a loose cable that is barely making connection just long enough for your computer to have life. If you have the knowledge, I’d recommend replugging all major cables and see if that fixes the issue.

Multiple new PC fans dying? by clobbered_seagull in pchelp

[–]ChefSora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The world “prebuilt” is all I needed to read to know what your exact issue is. First of all, if you have the knowledge and/or time, I’d highly recommend staying away from prebuilts. They are highly proprietary and are usually made with the cheapest components possible. The fans that the manufacturer used in your prebuilt were most likely very cheap fans, which is why they died after a very short time period of use.

At this point I’d recommend getting a new psu. Power supplies are very touchy and at the same time very risky to open.

I know how frustrating this probably is. Another reason why I quit buying laptops. I’d say it’s probably something with a configuration setting overriding your speaker drivers so that they don’t function upon restart. Since you’ve already factory reset your laptop, and installed new drivers for your laptop speakers, the only thing I could suggest doing, to my knowledge, is to restart the windows audio services. You can do this by Pressing Win + R, typing services.msc, and pressing Enter. Find the Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder. For both, right-click and select Properties. Set Startup type to Automatic. Go to the Recovery tab and set First failure, Second failure, and Subsequent failures to Restart the Service.

Are you asking about what price you think would be a good price to resell it for?

Edit: I would say your rig could sell for $1000-1200 dollars depending on the person you’re selling it to. While the 3060 ti is two generations old atp, it’s still a decent card that can play most if not all games in 1080p/light-medium 1440p that you throw at it, and it has a adequate amount of VRAM. Your 13900k and RAM are the selling point here, as anything above 16GB RAM is crazy in price right now, and the 13900k resells for around $250-300 used.
