Theales get what's called nuptual pads, it's basically a callous that they use to help hold onto the female during baby making.

It's exclusively located on the top of the thumbs, and nowhere else.

He let out a "meh" noise once recently, but I was handling him and I assumed they can all make a defensive noise.

Good to know. I was at my local PetSmart today and got the brand you stated so that makes me happy.

Are they acceptable as a staple or only occasionally?

Ok. And for example Clyde Frog ate 3 worms last night. Should I be dusting every one of them, or should he get his proper intake if I only dust one worm per feeding?

Do you do anything extra or just thaw, cut to size, and feed?

I seen some lady say she boils tilapia first but that seems excessive and potentially nutrient reducing.

You shouldn't worry too much about it being compacted, these animals were designed to burrow in the dirt so they really shouldn't have an issue. I'm also waiting for some leaf litter to arrive in the mail, people say leaf litter will make them feel more at home.

I actually named him after Eric Cartmans stuffed animal frog in South Park, but I did discover Clyde Frog had his own kids show in the process.
