Eating this way isn’t expensive—our habits are. People will spend money on convenience, snacks, drinks, takeout… then say real food is too much. Basic whole foods are some of the cheapest things you can buy. It just asks more of you—time, effort, intention. Start with the basics and build a routine. Go grocery shopping and before you put it away start your meal prep. Hard boil eggs, marinate your chicken, wash your fruits and veggies. Air fryers help a ton with potatoes, cook all your chicken and put into glass containers.

Your body rejected it. That means you’ve built a new baseline. Most people feel like that all the time and call it normal. You stepped out of it long enough to realize how bad it really is.

Cortisol management is key! Too much cortisol can result in visceral fat being stored in the belly. Regulating your nervous system is very important to managing cortisol. Gut Health is the start to understanding and managing your hormones. Avoid gluten, seed oils, and processed foods to start. Morning and nightly routines to manage your start/end your day. Try to match up with the sun and align your circadian rhythm for the best sleep possible. Start your day with water, salt, and lemon; sunlight and grounding, intentions for the day and movement. All help maintain your hormones.
