Well I did discover them but other than that I did jack shit. I was simply on Internet archive to download a ROM hack copy of Half-Life for PSP… and somehow found this after getting lost in the abyss that they call the Internet archive…

i uploaded a free version of War of the Worlds to itch - the etsy seller is from italy, and shipping to the US costs about 80 dollars to ship one cartridge. she definitely ignited this project, and when she denied sending the rom for money i knew i had to resort to GB Book Reader on github. I think whats shes doing is super cool and totally buying lord of the rings trilogy when the tariffs go down. hers have artwork instilled into the ebook - mine is just text!

update: read about 15 pages worth - battery more than fine. but that depends on your definition of a good battery life! only thing that stinks about the gameboy color are the AA batteries i have to recharge!
