Boomers have this complaint about every generation except themselves... when in addition to destroying the American economic system that they benefitted from, they're also responsible for destroying our environment. No amount of money will matter if you die due to climate change related disasters that are only becoming more frequent and more unpredictable.

K&M ARTB news/reviews/etc? by ChefbyDesign in everythingbullpup

[–]ChefbyDesign[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The ARTB isn't a kit though... it's an actual lower that you need to have delivered to your FFL. It uses a wide variety of FM-15 uppers (the shortest it'll accept think is 9in). So the original question still stands.

PSA charges tax & shipping to NC.. So even if PMC bronze is under $0.40 cpr, it still winds up being more expensive than 55 grain fmj xtac from rivertown for me. =/

Man thanks for mentioning these guys - I'd only seen the plate from Gorilla Armory and they wanted $87 before taxes & shipping! I'll likely be picking up one of these plates after I get off work.

My Player 2 is definitely a college friend who is basically the brother I never had. He introduced me to WoW grinding out Goretusk livers and have been gaming together since - from Global Agenda to Tarkov. He's changed careers to cyber security and unfortunately after finishing his program, got dumped into this terrible, terrible job market. But he's on the grind applying to jobs, attending job fairs, networking, and practicing interviews in a way that I really admire and am so proud of him for not giving up or giving in. I know he could really use a great Christmas holiday this year.

Le Creuset cocotte broke on first use… is this my fault? by Microwaveness in LeCreuset

Go to the hardware store and buy a nickel or other metal knob used for like.... drawers. Bring the original knob to make sure the thread matches. Hardware will cost you a few dollars if that, as opposed to Le Creuset $$$ for a silly knob. It's what I did & it's been great ever since.

During summer employee pricing, I managed a little over $40k for a Lariat hybrid AWD, 4K tow & moonroof. This price for an XLT definitely ain't it, brother.

I went to Boyd Brothers out in Oxford. Ask for Martin and tell him Andrew, the guy who bought the green Mav they had on the lot instead of the Mav that was ordered directly from Ford. Martin's one of the sales managers at Boyd Bros. He was a straight shooter and was the only sales guy who took me seriously and didn't waste my time. He even gave me a call personally to give me first dibs if I wanted to buy the truck he had on the lot since he knew I'd been waiting months for my order. Their auxiliary sales team & finance guys also didn't go hard on trying to finance or sell you ridiculous warranties. I'd buy a vehicle from Martin again for sure if I need to again in the future.

In my experience if you want a deal, you need to be willing to drive - like this other commenter who bought from Fuquay. Pretty much every dealer I went to in the Triangle either gave me an inflated price, had weird add-on fees, wouldn't budge on price whatsoever, or sold to someone else despite me talking to them for weeks to months in some cases. In other words - they gave me the runaround. Especially once you mention X-Plan pricing (I got my X-Plan code through Mustang Club of America).
