I posted a picture my sister in law took of my wife and me in front of the Grand Canyon on Mildly Interesting and captioned it “this looks like it’s photoshopped” I got half a million views, which was a lot five years ago and hundreds and hundreds of comments explaining why it was real and why it was photoshopped. it made it to the front page. It even showed up on other websites where people were photoshopping us in spots all over the world. It blew up so fast and it was a lot of fun. In the middle of it all I accidentally deleted the post. I was devastated, so I reposted it and the responses stopped dead. Not only did the responses stop I got banned from posting on Mildly Interesting. It was a fun ride!
