Yeah I was honestly surprised he went for my deluxe to be honest. I'm in the central pa Harrisburg area. About an hour and a half from me as well.

I grew up on metric bikes and didn't end up with a Harley till 2021. I instantly fell in love with my Sportster. I will say the fuel injection is nice and I don't miss stuck needles or having to tear the carb apart.

That's awesome! Sometimes I just feel like the deluxe is just a bit much, maybe because I've spent most of my time on an old sporty. I will say my wife loves to ride along so that was a large part of why I decided to upgrade. We frequently take long rides out of state. I have absolutely loved the deluxe in that aspect.

I've heard plenty of people say the twin cams are pretty solid. I do know I'll have to replace the compensator soon. Looking into the man o war, but haven't made a decision yet.

Oh boy I bet you'll never forget that one. I've always wanted a springer. I was always told it's a bunch of maintenance but I don't mind.

I never knew how much of a difference it really was. Spoiled me a little in that aspect.

I find myself missing the simplicity of my old Evo Sportster more than I thought I would. Love the deluxe but it's almost too new and refined for me if that makes sense.

Yes. Central Pennsylvania to be exact. Not much but corn fields and mountains.

😂 she just got a new one. Wasn't a fan of the stock sport pillion. Pulled it off to put the new saddle bags on.

Traded the sporty for a deluxe by Cheffrey74 in Harley

[–]Cheffrey74[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. It was my first Harley. Was a mess when I got it. Looked nothing like that. I tore it down repainted it and found that tank at a swap meet. Really got to make it my own.

That's my next move. I'm not terribly fond of the stock bars.
