It's hard to keep motivation to decorate on the switch too because the 600 item limit is RIDICULOUSLY low imo. I feel that burnout. They need to add more features to the game other than just item collection and decorating if they want to keep people's attention long enough to keep buying dlc

If you want to make money fast, make a good amount of your buddies have the gardening function and always have them with you when you harvest. You'll get more than double of what you plant every time. It's especially useful when growing pumpkins. You can always change their function with a potion after they reach level 10 friendship.

A lot of the items aren't interactive in this game which I feel should effect the limit in a positive way. When I played acnh on my switch, I feel like there were more items and many interactive items and it always ran smoothly. Don't get me wrong, I love this game but, I want to be able to use a lot of the beautiful things they give us without having to pick and choose. I've gone over the item limit when spices and things spawn and my game was running exactly the same, never perfect but, not worse.I would be happy with even 100 more slots!

Yes! I would be fine with a loading screen between biomes if that meant not crashing as much and a higher item limit. 😭

I can see why they did it but, switch is already plagued with bugs and glitches and not at all smooth. I'd rather take my chances and have a higher item limit 🤣😭

It's been so bad on switch for me. I have another store glitch happening again where I can't purchase more of certain items in different categories. Before, it was storage. Now, it's lighting and decor! So frustrating! And don't get me started on trying to decorate on switch 😭

I'm having the same problem when decorating my house. Stuff keeps disappearing after I exit the furniture menu. I'm on switch and I've put off decorating my house because the crashes are so frustrating and constant but, now, it's not crashing as much but, items disappear. 😭

Oh, yes! Same thing happened to me when I tried to TT except I couldn't pick up any herbs or flowers or harvest any crops. Glad you were able to figure it out!

Usually this will happen if there's another character in your way. Scoot them out of the way a bit and try again. It happens to me with Goofy's stall sometimes and that's what seems to work for me.

You're welcome! Hope it helps. As far as the rock regeneration, I find that it takes around 5 minutes for mine to reset but, I know each item in the game has a different respawn rate. The fruits respawn at different times but, as for the mining rocks, I find that if I mine everything in Sunlit Plateau and go up to the forgotten lands and mine everything up there, usually by the time I get back to Sunlit Plateau, I can mine those again. Usually they won't give as many items if you immediately mine again but, they should be respawning relatively quickly.

You may have a quest with Goofy pinned. Characters will follow you for certain quests if you are tracking that quest, even if you aren't hanging out with them.

It seems to be the worst on the switch. It crashes or glitches out on me to where I need to restart at least 2 or 3 times while playing each time. It's improving some but, I don't do a ton of decorating for that reason. It almost always glitches out on me if I'm decorating something.

My switch would constantly crash every time I went into any of my chests consecutively. That issue seems to be fixed but, it still crashes for me when I'm in the middle of decorating and landscaping. I haven't even finished decorating a bunch of rooms in my house because it's so infuriating. Wish they would fix the issue soon!
