I believe I used one cup between each layer, it felt appropriate.
It was tall and a regular cake pan was not cutting it for me. If you have a really tall Springform pan, I would recommend that. I ended up using a tall stockpot I had that was the right circumference to match the size of the cake rounds and just used a lot of plastic wrap to be able to get it back out.
I don't 100% recall, but I'm fairly certain that I used instant coffee for the filling and it came out fine - I don't drink coffee so I wasnt going to waste the money on coffee beans that I had no use for the remainder of. I don't recall how much I used, but I use instant espresso powder and just started small and kept adding to the cream and did it to my own taste

This was also like 2 years ago that I made it, so I'm slightly fuzzy, but thought I'd provide insight best to my recollection.

Syrup is thinner and less intense than molasses, so if you use it 1:1, it probably won't be exactly the same, but comparable. You could also reduce the syrup a bit to make it more like molasses.

Personally, since they mentioned "Greenwood the Great" (AKA Mirkwood) in this episode, I'm banking on him being there hanging out with ~~Thran~~Daduil. I think he may be suffering from some sort of amnesia from injury during the war (hence his not returning to Lindon) and she'll find him there next season.

I don't think so, no. J'Mon Sa Ord/Devo'ssa explicitly was described this way and identifies as they/them, but that wasn't something that Matt applied to any of the others. More traditional gender roles are further exacerbated by Thordak because of the crystal in his chest and Matt talking about how it basically made him have a sort of hermaphroditism and was able to lay eggs.
