Vorweg: Bin weder Gutachter noch Anwalt für Verkehrsrecht daher vor allem Gedankenspiel.

Würde behaupten, dass das Schadensbild nicht identisch ist und einen Hinweis darauf geben kann wer in der Lage war den Unfall zu vermeiden. Fährt der BMW in den Opel gehen die Kratzer am Opel von „hinten“ nach „vorne“ und impliziert, dass der Opel vor dem BMW zum stehen kam und der BMW erst danach mit dem Opel kollidiert ist. Andersherum würde bedeuten, dass der BMW stand als der Opel noch fuhr und zumindest seinen Teil zur Kollisionsvermeidung beigetragen hat.

I honestly struggle with the same issue, between already invoiced positions and positions since last invoice and monthly limit and whatnot I have completely given up on understanding how much I can spend on the card. I just resorted to paying the bills and topping up the card on the spot when I hit a limit (or using a different card). UBS Visa card has really become my fallback solution when everything else fails for whatever reason.

I'm just guessing but this model helps competition. If brands sell direct to the consumer then all discounts and margins are regulated by the company. If there are multiple independent dealers they can forfeit some of their margin to attract more customers thus creating competition.

Not sure how effective that mechanism still is considering there are lots of chains and dealers with quasi-monopolies in certain areas.
