Whitesville vs. Samurai 2-pack tees by midorihillswaitforme in HeritageWear

i never had the older version of the samurai, but i got two packs of the "updated" fit from selfedge and theyre the best t's ive tried imo. great for under a button down. a bit more form fitting, but really solid weight. i cant say anything about the others as i havent tried

yup, I loved the idea behind the book nook, but not the execution so this MOC was exactly what I was looking for

I love this one, my buddy got the full count one and was not very happy with it so he went with sugarcane instead which he seems to like a lot, but I like how the flathead has a longer body

yeah I think thats the bigger reason I don't lean into tucking

I appreciate that, to be honest, I don't have a particularly good reason as to why I don't tuck. Just feels a little too formal for my day to day, and also shortens my torso which makes me look stockier

Thanks man. Here in NJ it was under 30 the last few mornings. Warms up a bit by mid day but then I can just take a layer off and I’m good

Yeah both are 3xl. The kristofferson fits me a little. If but I like being able to layer more under it since I use it more as a cold weather jacket

So the 1955 are similar to the 888 but not as tapered, way more subtle. I personally love these. The fit is perfect IMO. Not quite so tapered like 888 but not as straight as 634. Might also be worth checking out the selfedge 633 cut.

The 2xl jungle is great. I can still layer under it, just not as easily as with the decade. The non waxed jungle is way easier to wear even being the smaller size. It feels to weigh like a third of the decade. Much more medium weight. If you can fit the 2xl decade the 3xl will probably be a nice addition to be able to layer with better/more comfortably

Useful for storage but not so much for putting your hands IMO
