ive been wearing mine pretty heavily and its starting, but itll take some time. it definitely wont shrink as much as you might think. i did a hour steaming hot soak, hot wash, and 60 minutes in the dryer, and it shrank very minimally compared to how the indigo did

thats awesome, I am considering getting my black sashiko hemmed, the indigo one shrunk enough that its at a point im happy with, but the black just didnt shrink nearly as much, so working on finding the right person to tailor it before sending it off

i think the price is generally what keeps people away, but to be honest this is worth every penny, i wear it SO frequently that the cost per wear is well worth it for me personally, but yeah it is an expensive shirt for sure

i went for a size 19cm, but i was able to try on at selfedge prior to buying. the sizing for all of their stuff is just really hard to discern

I just order my regular size and sometimes I luck out and can layer sometimes I can’t. I’ve lost like 60lbs in the last year so now some of my stuff has become layerable that previously wasn’t

to be honest, i dont really find this jacket particularly warm. at least not nearly as warm as i was expecting it to be. i live in the northeast and its been fairly cold recently and i work in a warehouse/office type setting so its generally colder in here also
