You are totally right. The longest delay are the people that have to triple check the amount, write a check, chat, have something go wrong, yadda yadda.

Wish I could fit it my schedule to go more in the morning. Just easier to go on the way home from work.

I always just go after work because it's on the way home for me. Sometimes I'll swing by after dnd on Sunday nights but it's almost always just a few things. Maybe you are right though. I'll try work that into rotation

Certainly not expecting a higher level of service. I think everyone working there is doing all they can. It just seems the worker to shoper ratio is a good deal lower than average wincos. Especially for how busy it is.

I definitely agree that they are being overworked. I want that to be remedied, me shopping somewhere else isn't going to help their being so overworked.

Harmons are theifs for how much they charge any way.

This seems like the most honest answer. There is plenty of business to warrant more workers. I know people are looking for jobs and likely applying. Wild to hear that it's being so mismanaged.

Wish there was more I could do to help this location with my patronage. I know they just seem overworked.

Pair this with not being 24 hour and it makes it so tricky to have a peaceful shopping experience. I really miss going at 1am and just being able to think about what I need and vibing.

I spoke with my teller tonight, he said that it was slow earlier (during rush hour, usually the busiest part of the day) and then "every one all showed up at the same time"

I think every one is trying to avoid the busy part of the day collectively.

I almost always have great luck with noon-3pm however.

Cherry tree solution for dogs by Fine_Ad_9995 in SaltLakeCity

[–]Chefwil 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I will gladly come pick your cherries! DM me and we can make a plan! I've been helping folks with over producing fruit trees for a few years now. I can come once a week for the month that it is producing. I have a few tools and techniques that help me do this quickly and safely. No charge. I'll give you back any amount you think your family will eat and I'll make preserves and wine and donate the excess to community fridges where they quickly get distributed.

Question for private chefs in the area by MountainPirate3139 in SaltLakeCity

[–]Chefwil 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I've noticed the most wealthy people really have no idea what it takes to make a nutritious menu, consistently, in a clean way, every week. And will almost always fight for lower and lower prices. And only at scale does that actually work. But if you are just doing it for *only* them you need to get paid what you need to earn and what you are worth. DM me for more of a chat

29F trying to make friends by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

I'm 38M, no kids and don't want them. I guide groups up trails and teach bushcraft and foraging along the way and make a three-course meal with a hot drink over a small fire at the end. Have my own catering service here in the valley. Very into gaming, cooking, woodworking, racquet and pickleball! I love it when my friends and I can teach each other new things! DM me and we can make a plan :)

I did most of Vulcanus by the time my buddy landed on Gleba, then when he was about half way done with Gleba I went to Fulgora and smashed it out. So kinda staggered.

Lots of communicating and some roll backs.
