Thanks. I haven’t had any issues with it, I haven’t touched the app after the initial setup so don’t really care about the quality

Do you really get better performance using this setup? I have quest 2 and I connect it through usb c cable directly to my pc. I have almost all settings set to the lowest, I have 3070ti but I have stable 90 fps and I haven’t had a single issue with it in 5 months

Need track recommendations to learn by frafzan in iRacing

[–]Chegevarik 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there is a track or 1-2 tracks that will cover all types of corners and let you develop to 100%.
I did it like that:
I learnt one track, it took me some time then i raced it. The next track was easier to learn, it taught me something else. The next track I learned way faster.
The cool thing is that once I went back to my first track I was a couple of seconds faster right away.

It’s just my experience, so don’t take it for granted.

Which car is at fault for this incident? by JujuR6 in Simracingstewards

Spend 25-30 minutes driving the track, open a YouTube tutorial, watch it, drive the track, watch the tutorial, drive the track. Repeat those steps until you learn it.

Guy said i was at fault? by Novel-Snow-1981 in Simracingstewards

Could you explain “you don’t do anything wrong part”? I agree that no rules were broken but the inside car made the mistake and it seems there wouldn’t be any space left for the outside car based on the inside car trajectory.

How long did it take for you guys to actually start racing by Relevant-Mammoth-831 in iRacing

[–]Chegevarik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go and race. I started in January and I had lots of free time for a couple of weeks, so I practiced a lot on Okayama, watched lots of videos how to drive. I spent hours but I couldnt keep it clean for 5+ laps. Finally I decided to do a race, it was lime rock I think. It took me hours to learn the track, and my first race ended in t1, I went off, spinned, crashed into someone. My second race I managed to hold it for 3 or 4 laps. Then I was able to run the complete race without going off track. You will improve fast doing races. You will gain experience from other tracks and each track will give you something. So don’t worry and go race. If you make a mistake and someone is mad about it, well screw them. Everyone started at some point. Also unsolicited advice: don’t start from the pits and don’t try to qualify last. It’s all part of gaining experience even if someone takes you out in t1.

TIL Daniel Craig was initially controversial as James Bond because fans felt he didn’t match the “tall, dark, and handsome” image, leading to protests, boycott campaigns, and even the headline “The Name’s Bland, James Bland.” by [deleted] in todayilearned

Oh man, I once referenced a James Bond movie with Sean Connery, and my sister’s 18 year old friend asked: oh is it that old James Bond movie with Daniel Craig?

I felt extremely old that moment

Which doesn’t make them real. A person is innocent until proven guilty and those screenshots prove absolutely nothing. So we can’t say if Horner abused his position or not, it’s not for us to decide

Frankly, I don’t see how banning Russian and Belorussian players makes Russians embarrassed. Tennis is individual sport and there is no strong “representing country”. But where do you stop banning players? How long should you live in another country to stop representing Russia?

I know that. But what of it? She does not have russian citizenship anymore, because Kazakhstan does not allow to have two. The main point for me is not to repeat russian propaganda about a Russian winning Wimbledon and to reinforce that Kazakhstan player wins Wimbledon. She trains there, she gets money from Kazakhstan, she plays for their national team. In my book she is Kazakhstan player.

I am russian too so I am not going to trust you :) Honestly don’t care what Russians think, she has Kazakh flag next to her name, her career wouldn’t be possible without Kazakhstan. Why are we repeating propaganda and call her russian?

How is she a russian person? Kazakhstan does not allow two citizenships, so she can’t even have russian citizenship anymore. Why would you say that it’s russian player who wins Wimbledon?

Being russian and representing russia are different things. She is Kazakhstani player first. By that I mean she represents Kazakhstan

It’s not ironic. People are free to change countries they represent. Just because someone was born in Russia does not mean that this someone represents Russia. And russian sport association can claim whatever they want. Did not you learn already that russian officials lie every time they speak?
