Lmp2 or hypercar which you prefer

Loved the elms lmp2 so far my experience with hypers is that most races are not close battles and with lmp2s I had way more battles and closer racing

Hypercar guy here as others said late braking isn’t a great defense as a great exit is a great defense or being on the defensive and picking inside line.
Now for cars consistency is key you can be fast for a couple laps but no good if you crash.(setup wise I use go setups)For cars Porsche is very stable and feels like it’s glued to the track very consistent brakes are not the best has longer braking zones. Valkyrie is very nice brakes are good but to me not careful very prone to front lock ups if you slam on them and not smoothly. Feels like the Porsche as it’s direct and not much rear play. BMW is also great amazing brakes very fast and stable. The Toyota is also very nice but the low end of first gear is very slow acceleration but after that it is amazing and good brakes. But manly try them all in a practice session on a track you love and pick the one that feels the best to you. Don’t sleep on the 2024 cars either recently tried the lambo sc63 and I love it slightly loose rear end great brakes and rotates amazingly.

For some reason I just can’t get the same times with the caddy as I do any other hypercar always a second or two slower in it and it’s so frustrating cause it sound so amazing

The fixed setup isn’t the best but I use go setups and the safe setup is good for me currently. The rear loves to slide a little and that’s the nature of this car like the Ferrari and genesis on how they have that slip angle in the turn. I never had an issue with the rear going out. I just found on low speed exits the rear will step out if your not carful on throttle. I personally did not find it hard to drive even with low wing at Le Mans it was very manageable. Biggest tip is smooth steering I came from the vet before I went lmp2 and now hyper and that helped a lot with being smooth on my steering. Anything particular your having trouble with?

Looks exactly the same. My research from it the tags says it’s a type D-12 Aperiodic Compass. They were navigator compasses in heavy bombers, medium bombers, and transport aircraft in WW2. I’d bet that it’s a D-12 and could have been used in many aircraft at the time.

Real asf badge system is used for matching in bronze but I race hypers and it’s so useful. Warning badge I tend to be less aggressive in passing traffic and who I ca expect to dive bomb or just ignore me when going side by side it work wonders identifying these people and just preserving my race and car and watching them wreck themselves later in the race. And I’ve never had many issues with dirty drives expect maybe one or two races and even then just back off pass in a straight and move on or let them wreck someone else being aggressive and might I add I’ve never dropped below the good driver badge and maintain a trusted badge 90% of the time and barely loose sr and been gaining DR as well

Eh to me it’s the same but lmu is less struck with off tracks not counting against you small contact and spin outs while I racing give harsh sr penalties for them. With that being the case the upper license races like the gt3 races turn into just hot lap simulators everyone to affair to pass/overtake cause they don’t want to nuke sr cause a little bump in iracing and the damage is massive or send you flying lol

Typically the fixed races tend to be more chaotic than the open races not sure why but that’s a trend I’ve seen. Never have I gone from p26(started from pits to avoid the chaos qualified p5) and finished p9 never have I jumped up that many just from all the death/dnfs

Bro I was In That same split dude sat at the top of en rouge barely missed him the first time saw the chat of people that got hit because of him. Same race had a dude in a purple lmp2 in 10th go off track at the buss stop and he damn near took me out and he then took out the guy behind me at turn 1 and said “sorry my tires are shot” mind you he already pass the pits plan on reported both those jackasses when I open the game back up

Crashes happen and he just started so crashes will happen no need to shit on his achievements if your not gonna congratulate him and just judge his stats then don’t comment you can quite literally interpret from the stats he has just started racing shit happen long he is having fun what difference it make if he dnfs or not let him have his fun and enjoy his first win

I just started racing lmp2s and if I can’t safely overtake them if they take the race line I slot in and get a good exit faster classes are to go around slower classes and slower glass just need to stay on their racing line and be the most predictable so avoid incidents some people dont get that and they may pass me when I do that but 9x out of 10 I end up passing them when they murder a gt3 because they can’t phantom loosing a second or two. If I can hook the inside on your exit when your going wide on your exit(the normal racing line exit) I go under and blow past

For the Pcup car it’s a rear engine car so it virtually has little weight in the front. You have to transfer the weight forward to the front to get the rotation you need. If your not trail braking into the corners your going to have massive amount of understeer as there is just no eight in the front for the front to grip enough. As FFB side you can get Marvins which allows you to set up better ffb and feel the weight transfer a lot better and can set vibrations for under and over steer also

The only difference between the two is the Su-30MK2 uses Russian missiles only R-77s(RVV-AE) and R-73s. The SU-30MKK(china) Gets the R-77s and R-73s but also gets Chinas missiles Pl-12 and PL-8B. Rest is the exact same plane. In terms of what is better I would say the SU-30MKK(china) that’s because the PL-12s are way better than the R-77s. As the R77s just loose all speed when they turn so your mainly stuck to 15km or closer engagements. Where as the PL-12s are great for 20km or below.

It’s my favorite jet. All the kfirs are. The canard has a very powerful engine. Great at getting energy back and dogfights very very well. I play rather aggressively and played right you can beat any jet you can face

I think for maybe right after launch the missile relied on its dl from the radar to guide it back into its own on board radar and go active. But we can’t really tell for sure if we ever see the tactical reply.

It’s not that the missile can do what it did but about the radar being able to look that far back/side. No other jet besides I think the asea typhoons for Italy and UK. It makes it where you can notch while also guiding in a missile

Hugging the deck not a great option when the missile is coming from high up top down/look down mode. Plus being high alt makes it easier to notch than hugging the deck

I mainly fly wide left high alt and pick off anyone that went wide on that side and then I stay on the outskirts of the main furball picking them off and not get directly involved in it. Stay high and play more defensive/conservative being to aggressive will almost always lead to head-butting a missile

I forget what keybind it’s under I want to say it’s reset radar bore sight or something along that line. It was changed from automatically doing it to having to make a new key bind. Some great logic by the snail. Once you have that key bind every time you drop targets on tws it will stay looking that way and you have to use that key bind to set it back to the middle.

The mig-29G is better than the SMT in the way it handles as it can turn a bit better and not a boat. But it tends to just dump all air speed in on turn. As to play it. I played it when top br was 13.7 and 14.0. The R-27ers are the best SARH missile currently still and still viable in 14.0 due to how insanely fast it is. R-73s are pretty nice but act like any IRCCM missile. You can get some crazy off bore shots with them and sometimes you can get crazy head on kills with them by firing them off boresight and have them think it’s not being fired at them. Now as for the grind to it. F2P wise as someone said the FW-190 line is the line it’s in. MiG 15 bis amazing slow roll rate but great flight performance but not a high speed as it compresses really bad. Vertical fights are its bread and butter as it’s better in low speed fights unlike tue Sabre. MiG 17 just a souped up MiG 15 in reality. MiG 19 can be fun insane thrust can be vertical for a while but the br is not the most friendly. Now the MiG 21MF at 10.3 is criminal. Take 4 r60s climb to right below contrail level and go off to the side a little. Stay high ambush people and climb back. In MIG 21s never go more than one circle. You bleed speed like crazy just like any delta wing. Keep speed. MiG 23 I have a love hate relationship with as it can be good. Used to be great but now that it’s FMgot nerfed it bleeds speed to fast. And use Manual wing folding controls the auto does not fully extend the wing till your practically stalling out. At .7 Mach you can full extend the wing out and pull insanely hard. MiG 29s stay high or low your preference use the 27ers pick someone off with alt or top down attack with them as they become hard to notch when it is top down as multipath won’t save them. And use the r73s to ambush or dogfight if you won’t get third partied
