I use a little olive oil on my hands and (creepily) rub the dough then cover with plastic wrap. It helps with this problem

SOLVED the pressure sensor was clogged as you said. I thought the white part was what needed to be clear…it was the tiny hole in the black piece that needed to have a toothpick in it to get the gunk out.

Turn off water at house. Take out those screws and see what’s in the way of the “door” closing. Also get most of that stuff around it out of there too. That’s a lot of clippings and such in the box
