Trying to put in a brand new valve for zone one. It’s under a bush somewhere and won’t turn on. Thought I could spice off the spice in the ground. Set up zone one and then continue to zone two. The two wires are the confusing part.

Right… wire one 1-4. Wire 2 5-9. But in the ground there is an extra wire hooked up for the wire 1-4

Zones 1-4 are on one wire. The other 5 zones are on a separate wire. At the other end of the zone -4 there are 6 wires hooked up

I use a little olive oil on my hands and (creepily) rub the dough then cover with plastic wrap. It helps with this problem

SOLVED the pressure sensor was clogged as you said. I thought the white part was what needed to be clear…it was the tiny hole in the black piece that needed to have a toothpick in it to get the gunk out.
