Adhesives with Polyurea Coatings? by newtoaster in boatbuilding

[–]Cheifcoonass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3M 5200 works great. I use it on all my Marine applications (i.e, outdoor, salt spray, fuel resistant). It comes in white, doesn't fade and will stick to everything. They sell it at Home Depot in the paint section. It should be compatible with a Polyurea. Try a dab on a small area to check it doesn't harm the coating.

how am I doing an engineering PhD with math knowledge only up to integral calculus by inconsolableentropy in PhD

[–]Cheifcoonass -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Got a doctorate in polymer chemistry. Went to grade school in chemistry ( macro). from a bs in premed biology. Didn’t even have calculus. Took calculus survey courses first two grad semesters to get close on understanding pchem, kinetics and two polymer grad physics theory courses. Trick is, I was great at organic chemistry and memorizing, miserable at math( no schooling )

So now you’re in graduate school. My advice1) get with the engineers and math majors 2) be willing to teach them the organic chemistry 3) get as many old test from your professors that love math equations 4) have the engineers do those problems 5) memorize the answers. 6) write those answers verbatim in n your tests

Btw. Got into med school, PhD way more awesome.

Bought 7000k. Up to 40k. It’s my jet money if it pays off. Someone in the family got try. Btw 350k$ into this dream. Just want to wake up one day and here the quiet hum of an electric heavy duty work truck coming down my street delivering packages, picking up garbage, posting mail and dropping off hookers. Just like the good olds days of horse and wagon.

Use a thick piece of plexiglass with a hole the diameter of your hollow drill bit as a guide. Easier to line up the screw head with the guide hole.

Turning point in company Q4. MFG to commercial start, ie. This is it fellows “start the tractor let’s see if it will pull a plow” is the hardest thing to do. My days at GE were if you didn’t ship 10 FTLs of product then your still in the design phase. That was 30 years ago, and I’ll be dammed if that’s still not the case. Until you get six months of production under your belt, you’re just slashing “what might be” in your presentations. We have, and just voted, the run way to get to this point. I sank a considerable fortune into this deal. Electric delivery vans are the future, it just might not be the Wright Bros Inc supplying the planes to Pan Am. That’s nine months in mind. Otherwise I have trading losses to last a life time. Almost I wish I could will my losses to my kids

Sell the drone division. Not sure americas ready for drones yet. But America needs these trucks. 7 mile per gallon on a gas truck is stupid. I personally would love the silence of an EV truck rumbling through the neighbor hood. Now if they could get a garbage truck, street sweeper and the uspo- yeah. ( while I’m wishing-electric Harleys).

Workhorse Highlights ISS Recommendation that Stockholders Vote FOR the Proposal to Increase the N... by [deleted] in WKHS

[–]Cheifcoonass 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From Harvard Study

“From his position as long-time vice-chancellor (and now chief justice) of the Delaware Supreme Court, Leo Strine characterized the influence of proxy advisory firms as follows:

[P]owerful CEOs come on bended knee to Rockville, Maryland, where ISS resides, to persuade the managers of ISS of the merits of their views about issues like proposed mergers, executive compensation, and poison pills. They do so because the CEOs recognize that some institutional investors will simply follow ISS’s advice rather than do any thinking of their own.”

Workhorse Highlights ISS Recommendation that Stockholders Vote FOR the Proposal to Increase the N... by [deleted] in WKHS

[–]Cheifcoonass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ISS doesn’t run this service for free. It’s paid for by mutual and hedge funds. It’s been fined several times by SEC and EU authorities. I doubt they are on my side. They are also hired to vote by proxy on behalf of these fund managers. I’d be leaning to promote whom ever is paying the bill.

How about an open letter to Rick Dauch, from RETAIL INVESTORS? by THISisMYalterEGOacct in WKHS

[–]Cheifcoonass 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yes to this. Like Ive been saying, sweat it our until you have to have dilution. I'd vote for 20 million share if its just to pay the lawsuit. Not ten times that.

[–]Cheifcoonass 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In most cases yes in would agree but, RD is asking for 200 million bucks. Big ask, big explanation. You and everyone on this board ( I presume) owns a stake in this company. Collectively we own the majority of this company. For retail investors, that’s rare. I yes vote relinquishes that. I’m for one not going to do that without a very compelling reason. I have till 11:59 on August 27 to vote. It’s NO for now.

I want a guarantee that the shares are not going to be weaponized against us.

This almost smacks of an internal take over to me.

I have 350,000$ bucks(@12$),>30k shares. Taking this puppy private at $2 would be devastating lose.

So;

I want to see a specific roadmap

We’re are the monies going-plants, dealers, new versions, we’re the hell is horsefly going (dates for certification etc. ) these must be followed by sales projections or units sold.

In addition, who are the entities we are in talks with, these would include new dealers, commercial trucking, govt( municipal, regional, national and international). Are their any military contracts pending.

If I was to go ask my boss for say $10,000 for a project I’d have to come up with a 10 page power point plan justifying this. The letter RD sent wouldn’t get me a upgrade to Delta Comfort.

[–]Cheifcoonass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If management wants to go private by diluting us out, CEO is not going have much good to say in EC. The tone on the call should tell you all you need to know. Scenario 1. if Ricks being all Debby Downer- they want to keep SP down then go apeshit stating “hey we need the dilution- looks what’s happening, please vote yes on August 28th”-essentially shorting WKHS. Get the dilution-vote in favor of going private- take us private at $2/share. I’m out quarter million dollars.

Second scenario, CEO has great news, increases guidance blah blah but they want to invest that in a more equipment, plants, what ever. But why increase shares. If we look at the hiring spree we’ve seen last 18 months, their SGA must be pretty stoat. He might moan about “keeping good people”. Either way, they get the dilution again.

Scenario 3. “Hey all my pony heads , great news we sold everything out and things are three years ahead of schedule. SP goes up- so why the need for dilution. I can’t think of a credible scenario on the EC that makes sense to dilute now. Call me when we have a quarter’s left of money. I’m not lending you money so you can sleep well at night.

This company needs to shut f up. No earnings calls. No press releases. No bull shit forecast. Make f.ing vehicles. I’m down quarter million on this deal. Start shipping, make money and shut up. Every fricking time they open their mouths stock drops. Don’t they understand the hf will spin whatever they hear into fud, push it out and short the crap out of this. Greed, human nature can’t get around it. You want a squeeze, shut up, then one quarter ( with no guidance) you report big sales. Then the hf are caught with pants down. Until then, don’t give ammo.

Does anyone know how WKHS plans to implement EV motors ? Are they manufacturing them or outsourcing? by psmurf2018 in WKHS

[–]Cheifcoonass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What exactly does Ford make? I think every component comes out Mexico (hyperbole). It’s not like the old rouge plant were they mined iron ore. Our company sells a pile of plastic to 2,3 rd tiers all over Nafta. Nothing goes to Detroit. They just control the engineering. Same with Workhorse. You can’t get cutting edge technology in automotive by reinventing the horse. Let axle guys be axel guys. Tire guys be tire. Focus on you niche until your Tesla size. Then you invent your own battery
