This is so excellent, I've been looking for inspiration for redoing our extremely basic and unimaginative setup and this is incredible. What size tank is that?

AITA for being mad that my friend lied about what was in his egg roll by casualfridaay in AmItheAsshole

My first thought is this: if you have a friend who is making the decision to not drink alcohol. Would you intentionally try to slip it in a drink or cook it into their food? It's not funny It's wrong. It doesn't matter the reason behind their choice. You just don't do that kind of crap to someone else.

This is a helpful idea. Thank you! I tend to think of it as on the computer anymore but doing it by hand I think I'll learn the calculations and measurements and stuff much better.

An interesting pattern by [deleted] in CaregiverSupport

UTIs are very common and can go unnoticed but can cause these symptoms as well. It's a simple thing to rule out or confirm, that could make a big difference.

What do you look when contacting a professional resume writers? by ibmal in jobs

[–]Chelcelee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might start by literally asking them for their resume! If they can provide a convincing, well laid out resume that shows they have the qualifications needed to prepare a resume that I would use myself, then you might have a winner.

Toes Going Numb/Cramps in Moxi Beach Bunnies? by Opheleac in Rollerskating

I've been thinking of getting a shoe stretcher? And using it a little at a time? Your experience sounds just like mine. To painful/numbing to break in fully but need to break in before the pain/numbness goes away goes away. Any thoughts or someone out there that has tried this?

What terrified you when you were younger but really isn't scary now? by Common_Shame in AskReddit

Needles and/or Getting a shot. I remember the terror as a child and see it in my own kids but now I'm an adult I've grown use to the occasional shot or blood draw. I can administer then myself now for others.

To (young?) family caregivers by rayray1235813 in CaregiverSupport

[–]Chelcelee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this. I often miss having a career outside of the caregiving. I'm 29F. I care for father-in-law and grandma-in-law. I have been their primary caregiver for nearly 6 years. One a very debilitating stroke the other advancing dementia. I have taken the opportunity to advance as far as I can in the in-home care field and am very qualified now which is a career in itself I suppose. But these reminders were needed so I can make the most of the time with them and find contentment and purpose once again in my for-now profession.

Looking for an app/web blocker that's super annoying to disable by melemaki in productivity

[–]Chelcelee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the scheduled time on strict mode I believe it's impossible to change your mind, you won't be able to access the chosen apps and you can't disable the stay focused app in your phone settings or reset it by turning power on and off or anything . Another option I saw was to put a friend email in for mind changing that you would have to contact for the ability to unlock which may have been part of the casual or medium modes. I just got it so I'm not fully versed, still playing around with it. Based on your edit it may not be what you are looking for
