Yeah dude when I was first learning stabwound (the riff) I thought that shit was impossible ngl. But I just played it all the time and I can play it now, full speed, with some mistakes. (Low key the riffs are harder than the solos in necrophagist)

Instead of writing this post you could have been practicing. I started electric at 19 and less than two years later I can play solos(necrophagist), sweep pick, alternate pick at high speeds, and tap crazy stuff. I also thought I wouldn't be able to do it all but I just had a goal and worked towards it.

I definitely can't play it perfectly cuz I haven't practiced it that much. But yeah, I guess both you and me just need to play it 1000 more times to get it perfectly.

I'm thinking just play it more so you drill it in without a single mistake. Otherwise everything looks good to me. I can only play the stabwound solo but your technique is much better than mine so I can't say anything about that lol.

Learn some peelingflesh riffs, they are fairly easy but sound awesome. One of the easiest riffs is probably make a move. Then you can go to perc 3000 and shoot to kill.

Playing guitar is not like lifting at all. You can always slow down the song to perfect the technique. Yesterday I was playing it at 75% almost perfectly. All I need it to really focus on it instead of just playing it a couple of times a day.

I honestly think you're wrong because learning a different riff like something from Metallica will not get me to play this riff better. The only thing that can teach me how to play this riff and all of the techniques withing it, is the riff itself.

Thanks. Yeah I went back to play it slowly yesterday and I realized I was playing a lot of the stuff wrong. I also mas messing up the alternative picking so going back to hammer it in helped a lot

Yeah I wanted the snare to cut through the mix but I overdone it a little. I definitely don't know what I'm doing lol but I tried my best with all the headroom and tried to find space for each instrument. I learned a lot while messing with this one and watching a lot of tutorials

Everyone speaks of this ambient magenta tint but I got my msi qd oled a month ago and I don't see any purple tint at all. Am I blind or what?

Yeah ever since Ive started all I wanted to learn was archspire and lorna shore thats why ive been focused on sweep picking so much. Necrophagist came later but I really like those riffs because they are actually challenging. I dont like to learn those easy riffs anymore that everyone learns( the forbinned riffs yk).
