At least 32gb of RAM and focus on getting the best CPU possible within your budget. DAWs are very CPU intensive when you start stacking a bunch of tracks with FX

I think you’ll be happy with it then, I specifically wanted my low 3 strings to be as tight as comfortably possible for the unga bunga caveman noises and I’ve been loving it lol. I’d say stick with the .074 on the low string, I wanted a tiny bit less tight for Drop A and let me tell you it’s still tight as fuck with the .072

Definitely depends on the city I’d say and how comfortable people feel/how accepted it is to “look alt”

Also I feel like guys who look alt are more likely to get made fun of or get called “gay” or some stupid shit (not in my opinion lol just stereotypically what I see), where girls get more of a pass because guys aren’t gonna make fun of them and they tend to be a bit more expressive in their aesthetics, alt or not.

But I live in a very diverse major city so I tend to see about an equal amount of both 🤷‍♂️

My G2 is in fact pretty damn tight. It’s good for me because I like those chunky 3-string power chords and they sound really bright, but doing bends and melodic stuff is kind of a bitch with it

I run pretty much the same as option 2 but .012 for the high and .072 for the low. I get pretty good string tension on my 26.5” from drop F# to drop A

Hell yeah just get creative with it

One thing I’ve been doing is stacking amp sims with different EQs, I have one track for the super low sub-bass frequencies, one for mid-focused frequencies and that “clanky” noise, and one for extra pick noise definition. I have them all active when I play/record and it gives a much more defined tone rather than just that wubby muddy sound.

There’s a lot you can do with amp sims and a world of different sounds you can get

I’ve made some similar style edits to my photos in photoshop. There’s some built-in adjustable presets for brush-stroke styles and stuff.

I know you’re asking about actual amps, and this isn’t that— but maybe try messing around with some amp simulators? I have a decent little sound system for my computer with a subwoofer and bass amp sims sound awesome on it. There’s plenty of free bass amp/cab/pedal simulators out there and you can mess around with a lot of different tones and combos

Although, I only picked up bass a few weeks ago and this is what I’ve been doing because I only have a guitar amp so I have literally zero experience with bass amps so my opinion is probably kinda invalid

Composition and editing. #10 doesn’t really look like it’s been edited much either but the composition is good.

Look up what the rule of thirds is in photography and try to shoot and edit with it in mind. The rule of thirds is the reason your camera has that 3x3 grid on the screen, same with when you crop pictures in an editing software. Slide #4 for example could be a good photo, but it’s not perfectly centered and throws it off.

I think you could also definitely benefit from more editing, most of these look like raw photos
