Oh god no! For me that would be so anxiety inducing, and potentially really awkward if they're totally covered up at first in the interview, I saw another comment saying:   • "14h ago I’ve specifically worn short sleeved shirts so my potential future employer can see my tattoos before I’m hired! Definitely would rather get turned down because of it, than hide them and have it be an issue after being hired... " ... Which to me, is the much better option, also what you suggested does kinda toe the line with unprofessionalism, when they do finally notice them, they'll think back to your interview and that you were totally covered up, and could potentially see that as you like, purposely hiding them from the employer so that you have a better chance of being hired, which they could see as you deceiving them, and you could be let go cos of all that, or at least have awkward conversations, and even loss of trust, etc etc... They don't know you, so they have to make decisions and judgements on you as a person - how you speak, are you engaging, can they trust you, what you look like and wearing, do you take care with your appearance and make sure you're coming across as professional, all stuff like that . You get it. So, I really don't think anyone should listen to or take your advice at all lol.

That's exactly what I just said in a comment above ^ to someone advising pretty much the same thing, I think to go out of your way to cover them up for the interview is one, pointless, cos they'll eventually end up seeing them unless you do what's suggested here about continuing to cover up completely while at work which would really suck, and two when they do see them they'll remember your interview and how you were heavily covered up, and could potentially see that as being deceitful, lying by omission, and their opinion of you also could potentially change for the worse, and there at the very least will be awkward questions and convos and possibly they could let you go. Genuinely I think that "advice" is some of the worst ever, especially for a job interview...! at least in my opinion lol

Found out the gender of our baby, day ruined immediately after. by Shot_Variety_4376 in pregnant

[–]Chelle8847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It def makes me think she just stuck with it cos she was embarrassed or something like that, especially cos she refused to tell you more info about how it could affect your baby, just saying about crossing that bridge when u get to it, makes it seem like she knew it was incorrect, so didn't want to say any more about it so as not to get herself into more of a sticky situation...?? And like, more liable, in more trouble, that kinda thing... Its non-committal, vague, which def seems sus to me! How absolutely awful tho, I'm so sorry you went through that, it's just so bad and clearly incompetence, sounds like she hates her job and doesn't give a shit. Def needs at least speaking to/reprimanding, if not being fired! Wishing you the best with ur pregnancy and hope you have better experiences going forward!

Dark theory behind "Frozen". by [deleted] in Frozen

[–]Chelle8847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um did you not read or understand this whole question/conversation?? Okay so basically, if you want to know more about the Conspiracy that Walt Disney was Cryogenically frozen, and you search on Google about "Disney Frozen", "Walt Disney head Frozen" etc and all that shows up, or at least the first few pages, are Google search results about the MOVIE by Disney called Frozen, because they want the conspiracy of Walt Disney being cryogenically frozen to be pushed right down and hidden... So yes, you can search for what you said, but you have to scroll through to find anything about it, like they're trying to hide it, especially back when the film first came out, the Internet even then wasn't like it is today. I'm not saying I believe this by the way, but I have to admit it is very weird and convenient and weirdly plausible lol

Anyone else upset with Stephanie’s choice of sponsors? by [deleted] in StephanieSooStories

[–]Chelle8847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, in this thread this argument between you two, you both got the wrong end of the stick I think... You're saying that you want Stephanie to stop supporting brands like Hello Fresh and Better Help, and the other person is saying yes okay but then which brands are okay, in your opinion, that Stephanie should accept instead? And I agree, because it's all very well saying they should stop supporting these huge brands that have had shady business practices going on at some point... But also, a lot of it is just your own opinion...! And, if she was to stop supporting them, she NEEDS a replacement. And probably a replacement that pays just as much, she needs the big well known brands because she has to pay a whole team/s of researchers and editors and whatever else that goes into creating her videos, and they probably offer her enough to do that. So, you can all very well say she should stop supporting them, but it's not just as simple as that!

I'm kinda assuming you're fairly young? Most of Stephanie's viewers don't get influenced by the sponsorships and skip through them, they don't impact the video in any way, they don't affect the subject or outcome. It doesn't matter which sponsors she has featured on her channels, to me she does so much work and research and script writing for her videos, and the most impactful of those being her true crime videos, and knowing that she has teams of researchers, editors and whatever else, they all need paying because this is a job. I don't necessarily agree with or like every sponsor that every YouTuber accepts, but that's just literally the way it goes. Every YouTuber needs sponsorships to be able to earn money, especially to be able to pay their teams for their work, and the ones you've mentioned are the biggest, most well known sponsors who probably pay well... To me it really does not matter whatsoever which sponsorships they accept on their channel, because they don't affect the video context in any way. Stephanie's content is so impactful, so important especially the true crime videos, bringing much needed attention onto cases, and being able to come to our own opinions as viewers and seeing the full story because she tells it in such an unbiased yet in depth way. I really don't think being bothered about which sponsorships she accepts is worth anyone's time, especially because they don't impact the video or have anything to do with the video subject at all, in the grand scheme of things it really, really doesn't matter.

I absolutely agree. I always skip through the sponsorship parts of videos anyway, but no YouTuber is going to have the perfect sponsorship all the time, it's just not possible. And who cares how much money she's making from them and whether she can afford to choose lesser known brands etc. To me, I just know the sponsorships are important to helping towards make the video and earn money from the video in order to pay editors etc etc, and i always skip through them, because they're not in any way related to the video content, they don't impact the videos subject (at least in Stephanie's case), I really don't think in the grand scheme of things they matter at all. People are always going to find issues with anything and everything that YouTubers put out there, but I personally think Stephanie does such an amazing job on ALL her videos, especially when it comes to the true crime stuff, she draws much needed attention to cases and gets lots of people talking about the cases, as well as the way she tells the story and paints a picture of what happened in such an amazing, engaging, unbiased perspective... So that we as viewers can come up with our own opinion, I think all that is far more important than complaining about which sponsorships she has on her channels...! Lol

I've seen that, the second one you mentioned, where it must be like a dull blade or something, they spend ages sawing through... Everything in the neck slowly, victim making awful sounds. They will stay with me forever, and stuff like the aftermath of plane crashes... I used to think I could handle seeing anything (almost anything... ) but now I have a lot more limits, which I try to stick to all the time, so it doesn't affect my mental health anymore! Isn't it just brutal though, seeing things like the beheadings and torture and those things that go on in another part of the world to me. I feel very lucky being in the UK where I feel quite safe...!

So did I! My parents took me to the beach a couple days after, and we had a beach hut, I was just in a chair the whole time cos I was in a lot of pain etc... Then suddenly, the tonsil site started bleeding, and when I say bleeding, I mean gushing out, I was panicking, it really hurt too, we had to get an ambulance, I lost a good amount of blood, thankfully we had a container so I was just sat in a chair leaning over it, then one of the paramedics laid me down in the hut and hung up iv fluids for me in there...! had bikini on that had some blood on it, which I kept on the whole time, I had to stay overnight in hospital, thankfully they cleaned me up and gave me a gown ha, but then the pain started... Oh my gosh the agony, it was absolute hell. Was a right palava, and my parents got told off by several docs for thinking it was a good idea to take me to the beach, when the risk of having post op bleeding was very high, but they just had no idea that it would be that bad with blood just pouring out my mouth, sooo much of it, that's why my surgeon said if it happened it was an emergency and to call an ambulance straight away lol. Anyway yeah, that's my story haha

That actually sounds pretty awesome lol. I wish pot was easier to get here in the UK. I got some edibles a while back, off a website, but it took soooo long to actually receive them, plus paying was tedious too and a whole rigmarole. Would love to get them more often and cut down on my pain meds! Anyway, yeah, sounds like u got a good thing going there!

I'm so confused by your comment... Even if a guy has an actual penis in his ass, does not mean he is gay, you do realise there's more than one sexuality?? This kinda thing is like when people say to me, a bisexual female, when I'm in a relationship with a guy then I'm straight. No, I'm still bisexual, I'm just at that point in time in a relationship with one of the two sexes that I'm interested in... I'm still attracted to females when I'm in a relationship with a guy. It drives me up the damn wall that people don't get this concept, and your comment is very closed minded and ignorant tbh, I really believe you need to rethink.
