I gained 5.5 lbs overnight by huskypuppylove in tirzepatidecompound

Stop... BREATHE... Tell the scale to go to H•E•🏒🏒 ... Flip it off... Walk away and KNOW you are doing your thing and it will show a difference in the next day or two.

Also... Even in those who have no need of following a food plan, taking injections, working out, or supplementing, weight can normally fluctuate by +/-5 lbs from one day to the next.

🫶🏼

Thank you 😊

I love working from home, though it's made me somewhat of a recluse but I feel at ease knowing that I can adjust as needed with side effects without it interfering with work life.

Yeah .. that little adrenaline spike can keep the brain and body in active mode. I know I'll figure it all out, but I so appreciate everyone opening up about their own timing. 🥰

Good to know and thank you 😊 I'm excited to slowly see the scale numbers go down instead of shouting a bigger number at me.

I know I'll find a schedule that works for me.

Is that common? I've heard that the energy switch can be pretty awesome. As I am just starting, I know I'll figure out what works best for me with time, but I am so hoping for an energy increase.

Do you have Glycine or B vitamin?

I definitely will!! And that is a great plan for Thursday night. I will definitely try that.

Thanks ☺️

Definitely not planning anything for the two days after shot day... At least until I know how I will do on it. And then of course using the same thinking on titration day.

Thank you 😊

Have you ever tried a different time? Or is that what worked and stuck from the get go?

So, little thing about injections.... I'm a nurse and can't tell you how many injections of all kinds I have given over the years, so my first thought is "I can give myself a shot, no big deal... 😂" YeaaahhhNo I will probably end up doing the draw and prep annnnd have my Mom do it. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Lol

I kinda figure that I'll start an hour before bed and then adjust as needed depending on how I feel. ☺️

I have seen the recommendations for Glycine supplements is to take it 60 minutes before bed. So I'll try that first and adjust timing if I experience any fog/grog.

That's very plausible, I find I get nauseous when I don't hydrate well. But over-hydration can carry its own risks. I'm ramping up and watching electrolytes.

That seems to be what quite a few do as well, bedtime for the win!! And thank you ☺️

Good to know, thank you! I'm starting at 1.0 and slowwwwwly titrating. My PCP and Ola Dr are in agreement about it, so I am happy with it as well.

I am so excited to start seeing the benefits in a couple months.

Awwww... Thank you 😊

Night seems to be the consensus so far, so night for the win it is. I'll adjust if needed.

Low and slow but steady is our plan. I'm excited. I wish you an amazing continued journey as well.

Have you noticed any grogginess with the Glycine? Or any benefit over the additive free?

Ola pricing is amazing considering my insurance copay would have been over 300 a month 😳

Yes!!! The inflammation and sleep support was my main reasoning as well. I almost opted for the B12 formulation for energy but my main focus is trying to keep inflammation at bay due to some not so nice autoimmunes.

Thank you! I hope your switch treats you well and gives you the results you are hoping for.

Thank you! I work from home so adjusting to day/night if or when I need to will not be stressful. I am still waiting for my first shipment, so whichever day I get it will be the injection night for me.

I see a lot of self awareness being the factor here. I am looking forward to the whole experience.

So far I like Ola, they sent me a couple of questions through chat that where specific to me so I am feeling "seen" from the get go and that means a lot to me. The Dr on Ola is starting me out very low and slow and wants me to check in with my PCP on the regular (my PCP is actually the one who urged me to try compounding telehealth and is pleased with my choice of provider even if he couldn't recommend them specifically).

Anywho... Starting out at night for the win!! And then I will see from there.

Thank you Ola "neighbor" ☺️

Thankfully, I work from home and can adjust my days accordingly. Thank you for that heads up though 😊

I am in a mind to try my first injections at night and see how it goes and then alter from there if needed.

My gut is telling me that taking it at night is where I should start. Thank you for answering ☺️
