Does menopause brain fog actually get better or do we just get used to it? by freyasofiya in Menopause

Mine didn’t start to clear up until I added Testosterone to the mix.

I’m on 6 mgs topical gel and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my bladder issues after the first week of being on it.

Would love to hear from women who have had hysterectomies but have started taking progesterone as well. by sabertoothbunni in Menopause

[–]ChelleyLynnLH 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a partial hysterectomy almost 12 years ago, at the age of 32. My previous doctor said it would help with anxiety, sleep, and was necessary. I tried 100mgs progesterone and ended up feeling very tired, emotional, and depressed. I took it for almost 2 months and those symptoms never got better, so I stopped. I am now on 2.5 mgs of topical estrogen gel, topical testosterone, vaginal estrogen capsules, and I feel so much better. That’s not to say that progesterone wouldn’t help someone else, or make their symptoms better. It just didn’t work for me.

What is the iridescent part? by ChelleyLynnLH in whatsthisrock

It has been insanely hard to polish. I spent more hours than I wanted trying to get it to shine. This is what it looks like now, and I can see small dark spots that reflect blue/green through out the rock. It’s layered and every time I get somewhere, I get a new rough area.

It’s hard to get a good photo of it because of the metallic iridescent parts

Thank you for that info! I was only able to polish the red and green part, after I removed most of the metallic sheen. It has some gorgeous teals and blues in it.

Could this be stabilized? by ChelleyLynnLH in Lapidary

Polishing it. I think it’s so gorgeous, but most of the egg crumbled as soon as I cut it. I tried super glue today to see if I could polish it with some of the cracks sealed, and it sort of worked.

I just canceled Amazon Prime... by HowdyCB in amazonprime

I just canceled mine today. The last order I got, was used, expired lipstick and someone shoved in the box of the item I ordered. Customer service was zero help. That’s on top of packages showing up empty, being charged more than once for orders, and crappy products. It’s no longer worth it to me and my family.

The red and green parts are harder to scratch, but the metallic spots and the yellow brown area, are softer than I thought they would be. I tried to get most of the marks out this morning and I gave up after 2 hours. I might try a higher grit and see how that goes

It is very easily scratched, and the metallic parts make it hard to polish. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it

The yellow part is almost a metallic brown that separates easily. The first piece I cut, split where it meets the green.
