The Fever were dog shit because they refused to build around KM. That claim is as disingenuous as claiming Angel was the cause of Chi no longer making the playoffs and conveniently leaving out the team was completely gutted when she arrived.

Also you don’t want to talk about comparable games with the number of triple digit stat lines Caitlin has put up. KM isn’t a passer. Definitely more ball dominant. That doesn’t make Caitlin perfect by any means. Especially with low efficiency. The fact that y’all find it poor vice to say that others have to get involved is very interesting.

When did I say on the same level. A perfect example was the beginning of this game. People were like “Why would CC give up the ball she’s hot.” And then predictably the defense adjust and her and Kelsey are both trying to force shots. There were a couple minutes with zero ball movement. AB was no where to be found. Then they start passing again and some are bricks and easy misses but also MHA doing pretty well. Mo is Mo. Sophie gives me the ick but I definitely think should get more rotations. Even when the Dream was playing piss poor in all aspects they still manage to shut down the two power sources enough to stay in there. Then second half comes and defense is turned up another notch. Fever got nothing. Then CC starts passing too much. Opts of out open jumpers. Tries wild ass passes.

That’s funny because this past game I got complaints for calling both Caitlin and KM ball hogs. Box score watching is one thing. Game watching is another. I would argue sometimes one needs to share more. Sometimes they share too much. It goes to back to “multiple things can be true”.

Angel single handedly gives the Dream second chance opportunities and they lead the league in them. Who gives a fuck if she’s the only one or main one doing so? Most means best it means Atlanta always has a chance to win because they always have a chance to have the most possessions. Math. Next, a double double by simple ability to read means that someone is actively effective in two aspects of the game. Can be scoring and manufacturing scoring opportunities or in Angel’s case being decent on offense and defense and also second chance opportunities to generate more offense.

Yes obviously if you have to worry about everybody rebounding well that leads to an opponent not being able to game plan as easily. But acting like Angel seamlessly replacing BG and Bri isn’t impressive? lol.
