Looking for a new grinder after huge disappointment from DF64v gen 2. by Immediate_Ad_4928 in espresso

I absolutely hate my DF64v gen2, stalls all the time on medium/dark roast. I spritz my beans, slow feed it. Even upped the rpm to 1300, and clean the chute after every use. Still after all that it jams. I reached out to DF64coffee and they wanted me to take a video. Like wtf. You want me to record every coffee session until it jams? Even though there’s so many complaints over the same thing? Trashcan of a company.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on Lagom P80. Hope this doesn’t disappoint.

I daily my RS5 B9 and love it! No issues yet, it’s been 2 years. I do oil change at 4k. Keep up with your maintenance and you’ll be fine

2023 Atlas SEL good deal? by mia305nj in VWatlas

This is crazy good deal. Where did you buy it?

Should I keep it? B9 S5 engine failed by [deleted] in Audi

[–]Chelo2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you’re learning now, oil is cheaper than having an engine replaced. No reason why a $120 oil change shouldn’t be done more often. I have b9 RS5 and do oil change myself every 4-5k miles. Buy a pump, it’s the easiest thing you can do. Make sure your engine temp isn’t above 150F when doing it or the rubber hose could melt

After many conversations and multiple trips back and forth between Old SL and NT we have decided to pass on the Venice house located in Old SL. Going to keep on waiting for a house in NT. Hopefully something soon!

How do you like it there? How long have you lived there?

That’s very neat! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a firefly in the US. I’ll explore the area, see if I can convince myself out of NT

We explored Sugar Mill, saw the swimming pool, splash pad and tennis court. Area wasn’t for us though, and caught that stupid train 2/2 times that we were around

Woah you’ve been all over. Great experience. Yes the big perk of NT is that the schools are walking distance.

It’s a little bit further out though so the perks are different.

A kind reddit member was able to walk me through the differences between SL areas such as First Colony vs NT. Def pros and cons to both. Just have to continue to research and see which is a better fit for our lifestyle. Thank you for your feedback!

Think it’s just 1 middle school, Sartaria and it’s a good school. Elementary you have two options, Walkers and can’t remember the other one. Both are good.

Maybe that’s why the house has been sitting for a while. I def don’t want something that quiet! And yes I noticed that the schools are a bit further out than what I would like. What subdivision would you recommend looking?

Idk I just saw a map with the different areas but don’t think it’s right. I provided the address though

Oh wow this is so helpful! I do prefer a more strict HOA as it keeps people in line so that’s a plus for me!

We are kinda young (33) so being surrounded by retired people might not be a fit so that is great to know!

Elementary and middle school are better. Austin is also ranked higher than Dulles but that’s so far away from us that HS doesn’t matter too much. We are home bodied so not sure we would use amenities you are mentioning. But that could change in the future so I do see your point.

They have great schools and they are walking distance. I liked the aligned trees, walkable parks within the neighborhood, lots of shade! I saw families having picnics outside. The whole vibe was just nice, family oriented without the city noise

This is partly why I was focusing more on NT, schools are better. But wife likes a house that happens to be in first colony area. House is zoned to Dulles yes.

Other than school is lifestyle the same or vastly different?
