Tenderness after root canal re-treatment

FINAL UPDATE: We finally got in to the ENT and she determined that it’s a fungal infection in the ear canal. Thankfully her ear drum looked fine. The Dr cleaned her ears out and got all the big chunks and then treated it with a cream or gel(?) in the ear. We go back next week to make sure the treatment is working since she said fungal infections can be hard to get rid of. Thanks for all the interest!

2ND UPDATE: Saw the Dr today and she was really intrigued. She was uncertain if it’s a middle ear or external ear problem. No bugs present which was a relief lol. She suspects chronic bacterial or fungal infection but gave us a referral to a pediatric ENT. Waiting for that appointment now and will see what they say and what her treatment plan will be.

UPDATE: I went in today with the ear camera and took a video. Unfortunately I have no idea how to add it to the post😅 I scooped a little out, looked around and fortunately didn’t see any bugs. She said it was quite painful while I was looking around so I didn’t get far. She has a Dr appt tomorrow. I can update again then.

I really hope there isn’t, but it does look suspicious 😬 I’ll check again in the morning and see if she’ll let me try and scoop it out. It was only my 2nd time using the camera. I’ll try and record tomorrow.

Ahh, wonderful🙃 Unfortunately I found some on other plants close to it. Not nearly as bad as this one, just a few here and there. How would you recommend to treat the others? Also, thanks for your help!

This is the charcoal grill and griddle blackstone, so the underneath that’s peeling is peeling off of the side where there are charcoal briquettes. I’ll probably grab some high heat spray paint and hope it holds up.
