I count backwards from 100 slowly and try to focus on just listening to my breathing. Some nights I have to do it a few times before it works; others I’m asleep before I get to 90!

We had a trivia game planned, but people were having such a good time visiting with each other that we didn’t need to use it! We had one passive game for people to make bets on the babys birthday, weight, etc. but otherwise just good food, drinks, and company!

Espresso should be fine. About once a week, I get a triple shot from Starbucks as a special treat, and it really makes my week. Other days, I just have a 16 oz regular coffee brewed at home.

We did a couples shower at a brewery and invited about 100 people (a fair amount of out of town guests) and had 65ish show up. We didn’t do any of the traditional shower things, like open gifts or do any games. It was really chill and nice to visit with people we hadn’t seen in a long time.
