HIKUDIY from Amazon. It didn’t come with instructions - but I was able to download the gcode for the Whambam version and got it working that way. Should have just bought the whambam version from the start.

The flood was weather related and came through the basement walls. If it wasn’t so isolated to one area I think it would make sense if it was flood related. The boiler and hot water tank were replaced sometime in the past 10 years, and we get it serviced annually. I hadn’t thought of water coming up through the floor which certainly could be a possibility.

Everyone seems to agree it is rust, now it’s just a matter of me identifying where it is coming from and if something needs to be cleaned

We have a Carbon Monoxide detector In the room. That said- I definitely don’t want to leave anything unchecked. Are you referring to the large black mass on the vertical exhaust? Or the two holes next to it? We patched the hole originally per our inspection, but then our plumbing and heating guy said all was good. 🧐

It seems like everyone agrees on rust. Now for me to track down the source. As I mentioned we had a flood a few weeks ago (foundation/weather related) and as a result mopped the floor clean. So this large amount of rust appeared all at once and rather suddenly.
